As a new employee with years of working for large companies I can tell you that Meyers truly live the Core Values that they talk about. The management team really care about the success of their staff. I have enjoyed how much they value the skill set that I bring to the table.

Meyer strives for a competitive and family oriented culture. You work hard but your hard work is definitely rewarded. It continues to be a great place to work where employees are valued and management is focusing on making everyone successful.

Get paid according to how hard you work
Sales Rep (Current Employee) –  USA3 June 2019
Great company to work for. They have an awesome training program that gets you up to speed and in the field selling in no time. If you follow the process you will be extremely successful. Pay is salary plus commissions after you hit your target number monthly. You really do control what you make. Awesome culture and great group of people to work with.
Pros
$$$, Culture, Recognition
Cons
Can be a lot of driving and a lot of hours, but you get paid for it.

Inside Sales Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Blue Springs, MO26 April 2018
Upper management did their best at making sure their employees felt appreciated. They genuinely care about the work life balance. The hardest part of the job was the redundancy.
Pros
Own office, fun activities.
Cons
Monotonous Work

Racists! Run!
Senior Sales Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Blue Springs, MO21 March 2018
The worst possible people to work for. Between the blatent racism, and nepotism you won't get anywhere in this company. It is very cult like. The only perk is the week they shut down between Christmas and New Year. Welcome to the land of the good ol boys and Confederate flag.
Pros
The week shut down between Christmas and New Year
Cons
Racism, nepotism

Nah
Sales (Former Employee) –  Blue Springs, MO15 January 2018
Not a positive environment anymore. Under the old guys they seemed to care about the reps, their success, their families. Now the communication is so poor you don't even know who the district manager is from one day to the next. Try getting in touch with one, good luck. And every paycheck you can look for a few hundred bucks to be gone from your pay. You pay for everything. Charge backs, where a customer skimps on payment, comes out of your pay. Customer finally pays? Too bad. Meyer gets their cut, you don't. Have a little extra in your warehouse? You pay for that as well. They make enough money on charge backs and inventory to pay salaries. It's a rip off.
Pros
Good pay if you sign your life away.
Cons
Yesterday doesn't matter. If you hit a slump you're out. No assistance or advice from management.

Meyer Lab is a great place to work. Family atmosphere, great culture, everyone gets along. Management sets clear expectations for each role and is there to help provide support to help you succeed. Great work/life balance and fun work hard/play hard mentality. Everyone has a 'team player' mindset.
Pros
Company tailgates, happy hour, benefits, company is closed the last week of the year, great location

Horrible place to work
Account Executive (Former Employee) –  Blue Springs, MO12 October 2017
They treat employees badly, you have your best month ever in sales at this company and they let you go due to restructuring the next month. No heads up.Then tell you that you will not be getting a last paycheck due to a an error that wasn't your fault. Stay clear of this company.

horrible management
Assistant Warehouse Manager (Former Employee) –  Blue Springs, MO1 November 2016
You are forced to arrive 10 minutes early which you are not paid for. You go to work at a place that has no idea how to manage or encourage their employees. Nepotism runs deep, be prepared to watch what you say and do because it will come back on you in the worst possible way.
