Amazing research environment
Great professors and colleagues working together to do research. Well collaboration within the department. Lots of conferences held on campus that’s useful for research purposes

The payment is not great for a PhD student; it will not cover the expenses of living in Montreal. A side job such as TAship or other on-camous job is required.
