Accounts Payable & Financial Administration (Former Employee) –  Victoria, BC16 December 2018
If you are a hardworking employee with great work ethics, you will be rewarded.

The stress can be intense during operational deadlines, but it is worth it.

Boy's club
Sales Associate (Former Employee) –  Victoria, BC14 October 2018
The union is what protects workers at this company. If you are external note that this is a male dominated company, unless you are a "pretty" girl which definitely means you can get ahead. Much of the management operates with their own agendas in mind. Not a trustworthy company.
Pros
good perks such as pie, burger day, etc; nice holiday gala; great benefits
Cons
management operates with their own interests in mind; make dominated; average pay

Call Centre Representative (Current Employee) –  Victoria, BC5 April 2018
it is repetitive and very difficult to escape the entry level in the call centre.. occasional free lunches and breakfasts are the only perks and some draws for concerts. it's just horrible, negative work

Great company to work for
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Victoria, BC27 October 2017
Hours are perfect for having a balanced life. It is hard to keep your targets for calls per hour. There is opportunity for overtime and it is only if you volunteer. It was hard when you would hear stories about people not being able to see a doctor or were not informed that they would be charged.

Software Tester / QA Tester (Current Employee) –  British Columbia30 July 2017
Maximus is a powerful toolbox of applications to transform dated, voice-only call centers into two-way, multi-channel interaction hubs routing voice, email, chat, SMS and social media. Equipped with preview, power and progressive diallers, MiContact Center provides a platform for proactive customer engagement.

Benefit Services (Current Employee) –  Victoria, BC13 January 2017
Hardest part of the job was managing irate customers on the telephone.
I did a lot of data entry.
Most of my co-workers made this experience enjoyable.

Don't think or ask questions. Do your job like robot. A lot of favortisim and if your favorite you can do no wrong however if your on the other end you life will be miserable. Too bad could be really great company. President is fully aware of the goings on and does nothing.
Pros
Wages and benefits good for Victoria BC

Challenging work and workload with benefits
Payroll/Benefits Administrator (Former Employee) –  Victoria, BC26 October 2015
Large company in downtown Victoria with limited movement in my area of work, but has a great social network. Employees are fabulous, and for the most part (large company, remember!?) work well together.
Excluded staff not allowed flex days, which is one of the harder things to accept, as the unionized staff have the flex day schedule provided, should they wish it.
Great benefits once qualified, good starting wages.
Supervisors and Management handle their Teams well.
Pros
Great downtown location, and good starting wages
Cons
No flex time for excluded staff

Great place to gain experience.
Document Administrative Clerk/Call Centre Agent (Current Employee) –  Markham, ON2 August 2015
A typical day at work you are learning more ways to do your job effiently, there are always new ways to gain experience and to apply it to any future job you have in mind.

I learned how to process document, do incoming and outgoing mail, and trained thoroughly in the call centre department.

it's a small company and everyone is very easy ot get along with.

The most enjoyable part of the job is being on the social commitee

hardest part of the job is communicating your desires
Pros
social committee lunches
Cons
distance. located in markham
