Martin Estate has done an excellent job hiring good people - good at work and in personality. The firm has a great working environment with many strong friends in and out of the office. The firm supports employees, taking care to provide training, guidance, policies, encouragement and experience needed to excel in our work. Great co-workers and lots of support available!
Legal Assistant (Current Employee) - Kelowna, BC - 26 July 2022
I am a co-op student at Martin Estate and Injury Law and I am so glad I have gotten the opportunity to work here. Everyone is very kind and willing to help you learn. Management is very busy, but they still take the time out of their schedules to help and provide support when needed. They really care about your interests and wish to align your work in tandem with that. You are given every opportunity to expand and advance your legal practice. It is an independent environment, which is great. You are given lots of responsibility and must ensure you are staying on schedule, which isn't hard to do with the work environment and tools available. They can absolutely expect my resume after I finish my final year at University.

Positive work environment with excellent support staff and opportunity to advance legal practice
Lawyer (Current Employee) - Vernon, BC - 20 December 2020
Martin Estate and Injury Law provides a positive work environment that includes the right balance between independent file management and mentorship, which facilitates career growth and development. The firm employs experienced and hard working paralegals and support staff that enable lawyers to focus on billable tasks. Related to this, the compensation is very competitive, especially for a region of the province where housing and the cost of living are substantially lower than Vancouver. The office environment is collegial, and management values input from employees.
