Environmental services…Great gig if you’re trying to step foot in the hospital field

This was a decent paying job. Scheduling is based off seniority. Like any job in the beginning you should’ve stuck with the grunt work. I think it’s a perfect job for a highschool kid starting at 20$+ an hour. You will not make 25$ an hour no matter how long you work here. Unless you want to work night shift, you’re going to be part time for many years.

Can accommodate and decent pay

No advancement or acknowledgment in that department

Manager does not know how to manage

Working in the Communications Dept. was fun but no management. Some women who had been there for a long time took full advantage and took longer breaks and lunches. Management didn't do a thing.

Good Pay

Horrible Management

Always chasing hours

If you work a certain position part-time at the hospital your not guaranty hours at all. Its a job with no security as your always chasing the next shift in line. The least they could do is to provide a minimum hours so you can balance your life.

Good Job

Frontline nurses are under appreciated and overworked

The organization has a great education bursary for those seeking professional development. Benefits are supposedly 100% coverage for full-time staff but are not that great (e.g. no coverage for orthodontics, very limited coverage for paramedical services). Great frontline teams despite heavy workload (RNs are non-unionized and management have taken advantage of this).

Education bursary, frontline nurses

Heavy workload, benefits

Super super busy/people come and go

If u r a superwoman or Superman, definitely come here to work to show your abilities and skills . Otherwise, the super busy workload will kill you. Bad income/less vocation days/not unionized/not worth it!
