If you like working in a place where favouritism and wanting to be a butt kisser to management then you will enjoy this place. I suggest you try and work on the line because materials is only for butt kissers

It is demanding, and you need to give your best performance every day all thr time
Sometimes you have to stay to cover other people's shifts. It has a lot of things you have to do in each shift. You have to deal with truck drivers and forklift drivers at the same time. Sometimes, truck drivers will have bad attitudes to you because they want to come and go in a short period.
Magna is one of the worst places to work at if your in there precious click you may end up going places in the company the management doesnt care about family life if your on 8 hrs shifts better to be ready to work most weekends cause there are hoards of overtime and then management holds monthly meetings talking about sick days they work employees to hard also there heat breaks are a joke you may or may not get a heat breaks pending what biege shirts is on your shift and if they come check
Get to go home end of shift
I learned a lot about 5 S and how to assemble headliners for vehicles. A typical day is strenuous and at points labour intense.
This job was good. Great management. Lots of things to learn and I enhanced a lot of my skills. Such as time management, safety, efficiency, and cognitive skills.
Each manufacturing plant runs with an entrepreneurial spirit. Excellent bonus and profit sharing plan. Well funded global company. Opportunities for advancement. Low turn over of team members.
Rewarded for good performance

When i was new there i start as a loader i learned a lot in machines and safety the management was nice the hardest part for me is being a loader the most enjoyable part when i was having a nice conversation with my co workers
we reached to target and we could produce more than 900 parts in one shift. We learned that collaborative approach helps us to get the target. We managed our time and did not waste the time. the hardest part was the time that we had quality problem and we couldn't produce good parts and we enjoyed when raw materials were good and we were close to target.
Seems most engineering and support type positions are very stressful and most of these jobs are understaffed and over taxed. Pay is decent and job security is pretty solid. Transfer and advancement opportunities are very good as it’s a Magna company and they have divisions worldwide.
