Positive healing work environment
I worked at the lush in Kelowna,BC. Before & during the covid pandemic. The company itself has always made me feel safe and happy going to work with the precautions the set in place. As a young adult working at Lush was such a positive experience. My associates were always so encouraging and we had such a strong team. Would highly recommend working at Lush.

Good company to work for. Hard to grow
Lush is an amazing company to work for. One you want to continue working for. And that’s what makes it hard to develop your skills within the the company. No one ever quits so it’s hard to be promoted or get more hours. Before Covid I will say stores were extremely over staffed and staff we’re not being given enough hours.
Seasonal Worker in Etobicoke, ON
Easy job, bad management
At the Etobicoke Manufacturing facility, they somehow made an easy job one of the most frustrating I've ever worked. Absolutely no proper training and severe lack or organization made me dread every day. Once you learned how to make the products, it became easier, but the place was so unorganized and gossipy that it still ended up being awful. Lots of in-fighting and health guidelines were a joke. To give them credit, they had many more health/wellness benefits than expected, even paid for steel-toes if you don't have them. But the work environment was toxic and frustrating to work in. Wouldn't recommend.

Far from magical. The head office will crush your spirit
Working at Lush had it ups - free and discounted merch, location of headoffice, rotating foodtrucks to buy lunch from, but also a lot of negatives too. Management is comprised of self absorbed women that are super Cliquey and immature. They only kept the seasonal hires that they personally got along with not based on work performance. most of the senior staff were stand-offish and cold with the exception of a few that were actually welcoming. work hours were all over the place, shifts starting from as early as 6am to as late as 8pm. Couldnt book time off during blackout period (christmas season) and had to have a doctors note when sick regardless. The company preaches values that staff couldnt care less about. People are run down at the headoffice. They claim they never have sales on items that are not holiday products but then this year they changed that. Working at lush wasnt as magical as you would think. Stick to buying their over priced barh bombs

Great place to work for sure!
I have been working as a seasonal distribution associate part-time at weekends. It was an amazing experience to work within teams and making better workplace. My supervisors were always keen to help and effective in whatever they did. They truly cared about the employees. I learned so much about the products, picking and packaging. I appreciate a lot. Good culture, there was no discrimination; everyone was always welcomed. The staff and the atmosphere were so friendly. I really enjoyed the experience of working with such a great company. Would recommend!
