I have worked at Lorna Jane for over a year and it is a rollercoaster. They make you think you're a valued employee, but then do a 180 and tell you that you aren't performing well enough so will cut your shifts. The management are cruel and have a bully mentality, they will never acknowledge any successes will only ever tell you to do better, and what you aren't doing well at. For a company that say they are all about empowering women, they do an extremely well job of belittling the people that chose to work for them, and treating them terribly. They have recently cut back on incentives which was really the only benefit of working in the company. They clearly care very little for the workers and will not be loyal to those who have worked with them for a long time. If a worker begins to realise how horrid the company is they will cut their shifts and get rid of them, so they can bring in new people to mould to how they please! The only reason I gave 2 stars for work life balance, is because you will be able to have a life outside of work, as you will likely only get 0-1 shift a fortnight. The most enjoyable part of this job... will be leaving!
