Developer/Analyst (Former Employee) –  Pickering, ON13 July 2018
Really Old Mentality.

you go somewhere else if want o learn. The formal dressing, They took it very seriously like old people.

If you're expecting fun environment, forget it.

Not going to get any food stall for lunch or somethings near by.

Not gonna go for team lunch ever .
Pros
No body cares about quality of work
Cons
You would be stuck in 90's

Most musicians would love working here.
Lesson Co-ordinator (Former Employee) –  Stratford, ON31 May 2018
Learn the basics of every department. You'll know something about everything or at least who in your store can help if you don't know. Great training at start, but lack of continuous training. Decent employee discount. Loud environment.
Pros
You can play music when the store is quiet
Cons
on your feet for 8 hours

Had fun interacting with customers in an entertaining environment. I was a co-op student, and I genuinely enjoyed being included in a team of workers who enjoy music.

An amazing place to work
Store Manager (Former Employee) –  Edmonton, AB7 January 2017
During my tenure with Long & McQuade, I worked hard and learned a lot. I was able to utilize my specific skills in a retail sales environment, and climb the ladder, starting as a rental sales associate and ending as a Store Manager.
Family and personal illness had me needing to leave my position and career with Long & McQuade behind, and I miss the customers, staff and Head Office leaders whole heardidly.
