London Drugs is very behind the times. Everything is out of date, from their equipment, computers and tills to their ideas about management and the way they treat employees.
Departments are not given enough hours to actually run properly, rules are constantly broken for rude customers and then floor staff are blamed for the issues that come up. Managers and Supervisors are not well trained and don't do half of what they are supposed to and Non-Management has to pick up the slack. They also push extended warranty sales far too hard. When customers are getting upset you know it's time to stop.
They do have a nice employee discount program though.
All in all, if you need part-time employment and you don't mind weird random hours then LD can be alright to work for, just get out the second you find something better.
