Tell me about your best job and why you liked it?
General questions. I remember to this day the Manager gave me a scenario, and asked me how I would handle it?
Scenario: Telephone is ringing. Patient appears in front of you. A doctor asks you for a chart. What do you do in the doctor's office?
My response. Courteously greet the patient in front of you,, and inform them you will help them in just a moment. Answer phone politely and ask them to hold. Ask the physician if it is urgent or can I assist two patients. "It can wait". Patient in front has an appointment, I confirm this, and let them know there may be a short wait, and ask them to please have a seat.Pick up call on hold and thank them for waiting. Address their concerns. Get up and bring the doctor the chart they requested, having remembered the name of the patient whose chart they requested.
The above scenario I remember as I was experienced to answer correctly. It also became a tool I used when managing doctorss offices/clinics when interviewing.
Also, without reading from my resume, the Manger asked me fifferent positions I had, and asked me to say when and describe position, and of course she asked out of order ! Smart interviewing technique.
Also, why is this position suited to you specifically etc...
Team oriented. Excellent volunteer hosts and hostesses to negotiate around the facility. See above.
Team attitude very positive.
