Indeed featured review

This company isn't too bad to work for but there is a lot of miscommunication or complete lack of communication especially across departments. A lot of things get piled onto Customer Service that really ought to be handled by their respective departments. It is also sometimes difficult to get ahold of a supervisor or manager.

Pros

Decent benefits after probationary period, some really awesome coworkers

Cons

Lack of proper communication, poor processes

Productive and fun workplace

Great environment, great leadership. Always willing to do one on one training and give you all the tools required to succeed. Need to be a motivated individual to succeed though. No slacking!

Pros

Pay, hours, training

Cons

Competitive

Management not Leadership

Poor leadership and training methods, and there was very little willingness to accept feedback. There was little room to advance although they would talk about all the "possibilities", which were moving into loyalty or collections and receiving a raise that doesn't even match the rise in inflation for the year. The Customer Service team was definitely carried by only a 3-4 out of the 8-10 people, and it was disappointing to have management that refused to acknowledge this.Management was also VERY difficult to reach on days when we ran "skeleton crews" and there was many times I felt unsupported.

Pros

Got to work from home due to covid

Cons

Little opportunity for advancement, raises rarely given, and poor reception of feedback

Fun, youthful company! Lots of room to grow if you put in the work

Liberty has a culture of helpfulness, everyone is very kind and welcoming. Very teams oriented, I enjoy the daily trainings, team work and helpfulness of everyone. If you work hard, try hard and are actively growing there is room to move up.

Pros

Teamwork, face paced, ever evolving, good schedules

Cons

a bit stressfull

Favoritism & Cliques

Most people there already know each other from outside of work. If you are friends with them all is well. Frustrating policies and attitudes from management.Spend a lot of money on making it look pretty and little investment in staff salary. Poor training methods. Some questionable behavior on the part of some staff and you can’t say anything about it because they are defended as they are likely friends or you are imagining it. Very tense environment. You never know who you can trust. Not a place for long term employment. No real room for advancement. No way I would ever go back even though some do.

Pros

Work schedule

Cons

Almost everything

Slow support from management.

Not easy to track down managers and get them to respond to your messages. The overall group is a bit snotty, especially the people who provide tech support to people at home.

Pros

Detailed ongoing assessment of your performance

Cons

Slow manager support

Growth promoting environment

A typical day working for Liberty is best described as go go go. Early to mid morning starts to get a quality meal in for the day followed by some material studying. Quick meeting recapping the prior day and goal setting for the day/week. With some training.

Terrible Leadership

Job is hard work but fun. Company would benefit from sending their managers to training on leadership, culture and conducting effective meetings
