Support Staff (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 24 January 2022
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by Indeedit was a decent place to work at, great view of Toronto and the nightlife, and coworkers were great. Managers were not the best people and had a few racist customers.

Fun in the sun!!
server (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 11 October 2022
I never worked on a roof top patio it was great fun. Guests were fun and entertaining especially on busy weekends. The serving team was great and made so many friends this summer. Management was helpful and respectful throughout the summer chaos. I'm looking forward to returning next summer for a double dip of fun......

Super fun place to have fun and network
Server (Current Employee) - Toronto, ON - 3 September 2022
This place gets very busy. So it needs people who are willing to work hard and if you are one of those, this is a great place to work at. Lovely staff (except a few). Can be exhausting but super fun to work

chaotic at worst disorganized at best
Server (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 8 June 2022
No one knows what they're doing, drinks and food take a while to come out, not because it takes long to make, but because no one is running them. You'll be busy not because you're swamped with tables, but because none of your tables have plates, glasses, cutlery etc.

- General feeling of work happiness
Make a ton of money but you have no life
Server (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 26 May 2022
You start around 4-5, usually doesn’t pick up until 7-8 then pretty much turns into a club, which means you typically work until 3-5am. The staff felt like family which was great but management was terrible. They prioritized money over absolutely everything, by which I mean they turn a blind eye to anything if there’s money coming in. They lack leadership skills and are quick to throw you under the bus if it means saving their own ***. If you expect to enjoy any time to yourself, don’t. They expect you to work 5x/week,10-14hours/day and will schedule last minute meetings with couple day notice and expect you to cancel any and all plans to attend these meetings. If you want to make a lots of money but don’t care about having much of a life during the summer, this place is good for that. They’re also very protective of their reputation, there was a incident which led to a staff member getting severely injured and the director was adamant on not calling the ambulance because she didn’t want to cause a scene. Be careful working there, keep to yourself and make some good friends with those around you but know that they want you to fall in line or will throw you out quicker than you can blink.

Not as bad as the reviews say
Hostess (Current Employee) - Toronto, ON - 19 May 2022
Great people. Decent $, long hours, however it becomes like family. Okay Management, does get moved around a lot, fired/hired 24/7. Opens future opportunities in the industry.

Horrendous
Server (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 18 March 2022
Traumatic, literally will drive you insane. Long hours, never pay on time. Extremely rude and toxic, catty management and coworkers. Under qualified staff, terminal payment machines never work, ugly uniform, awful clientele. Will work you to the bone and have no respect for you. If you value any sort of morale you will not work here. Your job is never secure, management and staff have been fired and rehired a million times. Just not worth it for the same money you can find elsewhere.

Nothing
Cons
Everything

Horrible Management
Server (Current Employee) - Toronto, ON - 25 February 2022
Pros: Decent money during the summer Good vibes during the summer Good view CONS: Horrible Management -Management does not know what they’re doing. They over schedule servers, get no tables for three hours then decide to let you go home as not busy. -One manager comes rushing to you while you are talking to guests telling you to go take care of other table - very unprofessional. -they DO NOT give you time off between May until September so don’t even bother asking. Payment machines are garbage. Get no reception which then adds time to your flow of things,, example payment can take five-ten mins to process all the while your guests can be needing something, then they complain and it’s a domino effect. Kitchen is very slow and very unprofessional. They do not know how to send appetizers together, they also like to send entrees and appetizers all at once so guests have no room on their table... will mix up tables so guests will have wrong items. Long hours- once worked a double 10am-430am with no break,, lost 8 pounds that weekend. Average shift is 4/5pm until 3/4am Management takes over two months to pay your tips due from machine payments. However, they still have time to go on vacations…

Terrible Management
Hostess (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 20 February 2020
One of the worst management teams I've ever experienced in Toronto, low pay but they expect the world from you. Stay away, all positives stem from customer interactions.

Terrible management.
Bottle Service (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 9 April 2019
Misinformed information about pay. Pay was often late. Head management is rude and power-tripping. Terminated good employees for wrong, unjust reason. Threatened to fire an employee everyday because there are many people applying to the venue so anyone can easily be replaced.
Cons
Bad management.
