Family member (Former Employee) – Guelph – 2 April 2018
From not changing their briefs to shovelling food in their mouths, the staff don’t care. All the psws do is sneak as many smokes as they can and then breath all over your loved ones face. As for activities.....unless you are a favorite, expect to sit in your room until it’s your turn to be quickly washed and shoved into bed. God forbid the staff actually slow down and take the time to use the lifts to transfer patients safely to and from bed. The lack of support from management is ridiculous. Unless you complain to the ministry, your family member will be alone when they die.
Food Service Aide (Former Employee) – Guelph, ON – 18 May 2017
Good work experience in Food Service. Many shifts available. We were all team players and the main purpose was to make the residents happy; even if it was taking 5 minutes out of your day to make them smile.
