Good job if you do not need benefits and are just looking for a hobby job as a retiree. A lot of down time but driving in bad weather conditions for very little pay.

I enjoy working as a PSW in the Community, helping out Seniors.
My experience has been very positive and it is a real interesting job.

If you like to help out in your Community it is a great place to work.

working at L.E.O wasn't my best work experience but despite that I still liked the task I performed. There is always a lot going on at L.E.O I found the environment to be stressful.
Pros

The pay for the different positions at this company are far below average: less than $13/hr to clean clients homes, $15/hr to be a coordinator and van drivers were even lower. No raises in the past two years.
Workload for some in the office was ridiculous while others were able to freeload.

Management was horrible to deal with, an abundance of favouritism on behalf of the CEO and bullying by his front office staff.

If you ever spoke up for yourself, you were made an example of and the loss of position happened quite often.

As long as you were "friends" with the CEO you are able to do whatever you want no matter how many times you screwed up.
Cons
horrible management

The day was spent cutting, bagging, cleaning up the yards of the elderly.
Management was easy to talk to.

The hardest part of this job was getting laid off every winter.

Interacting with the elderly.
