If you work well you won't get vacation An all those people that horse play at work will exceed to a lead Hand or supervisor Also with vacation if the boss friends don't need overtime you won't get vacation An if your the lucky one to get vacation for week, don't worry they'll call you back to work before that's up Also the company uses a app that tell you when you go back to work if you don't check it regularly you will be written up. Your shift can change at any time ant you just have the app to ask because HR don't care thats what the app was made for. So they don't have to deal with you
One of the worst company to deal with. To many people that has no clue what they are doing. They have to many useless department and they have no communication. The head office is in the US and they are clueless. The CEO should wake up and cut down half of is staff lots of them doesn't know if they are going forward or backward. Their hiring process is terrible and the HR department has no clue what they are looking for.
Pros
Not having a job there
Cons
a wast of time to apply there
Challenging management style. Does not follow Alberta Labor act very well. An American company that feels they can do what they want and even bring in cross boarder workers for repairs here in Canada. Without working visa's
Pros
Steady work
Cons
More work than you can do. No showers or proper change rooms for a food facility.
You are working in a concrete bunker 12 hours a day. After a while it can wear a person down. Switching between day shift and night shift was stressful. It just wasn't for me.
Good remuneration, very helpful co-worker, good benefits and fair kind of job.Management provide the needs of the employees. Good and supportive team leaders and supervisors.
I worked for almost 3 months at Lamb Weston when i was let go because it was just a tempoary job. This was not a job but seasonal. It was never said in the ads or at the job interview it was a seasonal job or a temporary job.

Its a plant that you would start out and learn. For that previous review before . How was it that you got free lunch ? There is no free lunch .
Pros
Good job security
Cons
Lower salary then surrounding plants
It is a dynamic plant where you look after both, a very big refrigeration plant, two water tube boilers, air compressors, and potato fryers.
Management is quite friendly and production employees are very cooperative. Plant runs smooth and exceeds expected production.
Pros
Free lunches and drinks/coffee
Cons
Located in a very small town
I enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. The refrigeration side contains 50,000 pounds of ammonia using 13 screw compressors and all associated equipment required.(Thermo siphon, condensers, evaporators, Pump traps, etc. We use 2 high pressure steam systems. (250 psi) (125 psi) with all the associated equipment including economizers, flue gas recirculation systems, high pressure condensate return systems, water de-alkalizers, water softeners, etc.
Pros
Good people to work with.
Cons
Travel time to and from work.
