If you fix the % of shady managers (the root of most if not all problems), you will see most staff happy & excited to go to work. So far it's ignored ie. the north site doesn't get much attention from the org yet is one of the worst areas for such issues.
Stop looking at the bottom line, and start investing in the futures of all staff. A workforce is a valuable commodity when treated right.
Have the cafeteria open in weekends and for evening shifts. It's fine if you diet is a 16 yr olds take lives off pizza donuts and Subway. Small collet of "healthy food choices' is empty on nights and very costly
Provide volunteers with an opportunity to stay working after proving their skills and endeavour and dedication to both, the Patients and the Medical Facility. Please note that my job was as a Volunteer Placement after College.
