Catering Manager (Former Employee) –  Toronto, ON15 May 2019
Worked here for over 2 years with very little support or encouragement. Management makes empty promises and expects way too much for almost minimum wage. No growth potential, no HR department, no benefits, severe conflict of interest within management, burnt out staff.
Don't waste your time.
Pros
Free lunch

Restaurant Cook & Kitchen Attendant (Former Employee) –  Montréal, QC2 March 2019
Coworkers are great, but everyone is miserable. Hours range from 3-12 hours a shift, schedule is a mess, sometimes you close and then open next day, but even if you’re hired full time you will unlikely get more than 30 hours. Schedule always comes out late. Understaffed, not enough employees to cover each other. A lot of multitasking and repetitive work, but it’s easy. Tips aren’t very good for amount of work you do because it’s not busy.
Management is unprofessional and chaotic, but they are nice people, just don’t seem to know what they’re doing.
Pros
Staff meals, discounts, coworkers, prep is fun
Cons
Unsteady hours, poor management, unprofessional

Manager (Current Employee) –  FCP7 September 2018
I have been with the company for over 2 years. I learn a lot about vegan, gluten free and nutrition.
It is a great place to work and study because they are ok with part-time and perfect place to grow as there are many opportunities. They are opening many locations and always promote the employees to management and supervising positions with good salaries.
Pros
Downtown location, Monday to Friday job
Cons
Health benefits start after one year, Rush time is crazy busy

Line Cook/ Kitchen Prep to Assistant Manager (Former Employee) –  Toronto, ON10 February 2016
Productive and fun place to work. It is a Vegan restaurant with fresh, healthy food and fun people. I learned a lot about vegan food and different recipes. This is a great place to work.

prep chef and cashier (Former Employee) –  Toronto, ON17 August 2014
high speed and quick tempo job but the management and staff made the atmosphere fun and great to work in. management where very easy to talk to and where very supportive as long as you where willing to work hard. great bonding between staff and management on lunches and after work hours. 3 hours of non stop customers was strenuous but made the day go by quickly. never a moment of killing time which is always a plus as you are always on your feet. i learned how important staff and customer interaction can help boost a businesses name and profits as teh majority of customers where regulars.
Pros
free lunch, smoothie and coffee everyday. pay increase every 3 months of 50 cent
Cons
short hours. max days where only 6 hours.
