Meh Place to Work
Appointment Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Calgary, AB5 February 2019
(This is all my opinion. Take it as you want)

Overall the people are great, but when management says they are okay with you taking a few days off to address health issues they really mean "I'm going to fire you in the next few days" So be extremely careful who you ask for time off. Even if you're losing your hearing, they don't care. They just want you there. So ignore your health issues and you'll love it here.

Typically you'll find yourself doing nothing but watching YouTube all day and chatting with the other 3 employees in "the black hole" as the rest of the dealership likes to call it. So if you enjoy doing nothing all day this is the job for you so enjoy that.

The hardest part about this job is honestly nothing. You're typically bored all day long so you'll be watching YouTube or Netflix. Be careful though. They'll block you off the internet if they find out. Use wisely.

Overall, enjoy working here for a few weeks. They don't call it the black hole for nothing.
Pros
Great people
Cons
Meh everything else.

Good people, culture and fair compensation. The Mazda brand is strong and progressive. Lots of long term employees with the company. Clean and open work space.

Staff WAS good until everyone quit
Sales Associate (Former Employee) –  Calgary, AB22 October 2018
Staff are not treated equal. Expected to work 24/7 and family events are not important to management. They make you feel bad if they give you time off. If your in the office on the phone they tell you that your spending too much time in your office. If your on the floor or on the lot, they tell you that you should be on the phone.
They like to make the sale but not pay the staff accordingly.

Sales and Leasing Consultant (Former Employee) –  Calgary, AB31 March 2018
I really like Mazda management was fair and made sure you stayed on top of your game especially when it was slow. They provided lunches on Saturdays and made sure you had your deals if there was a dispute.

Very poor training
Sales Associate (Former Employee) –  Calgary south13 July 2017
They expect alot yet training is poor they expect you to memorize 8 cars within 2 weeks. Start testing and ask you to quit if you fail a better on approach would be to trains someone hands on instead of throwing them under the bus.
Pros
Managment is poor
Cons
Co workers are not bad

Ridiculous
Receptionist (Former Employee) –  Orangeville, ON15 February 2017
This job was absolutely ridiculous. The management expects perfection but does not bother to give thorough training. They also have no sense of compassion when it comes to personal issues that are affecting work.

Fun work environment - lack or growth
Sales Associate (Former Employee) –  Calgary, AB4 January 2017
Kramer Mazda is a fun place to work, the environment amongst most of the employees is healthy. Communication with management is poor. Lack of advancement even though expressed want for growth. All in all, management and ownership could use a lot improvement.
Pros
Most of the co-workers

Most fun Ive had selling cars because of the product.
Floor Manager - New Car Sales (Former Employee) –  Calgary, AB12 August 2016
All in all a good place to work. In a very competitive marketplace it helps being at the busiest store. It was easy to deliver an excellent experience for the customers here.
Pros
Excellent cusomters. Best to deal with in that brand
Cons
Opportunity to advance is limited if you sell too many cars and they need you in sales.

Good place to learn and start.
sales (Former Employee) –  Calgary, AB30 July 2015
This place just lacks a spark. I find that the place needs more positive motivation instead of negative or way too much workload and expectation with a right now demand.

Sometimes felt that the company goals and reality were too far apart. Just overall dry.
Pros
Good People
Cons
Did not feel appreciated for my accomplishments.
