Excellent wages and benefits in a Union environment. Many training opportunities within and outside of Credit Union. Many local branches and a call Center providing an array of opportunities.

Pros

Opportunities for advancement exist within the union environment as well as Senior Management

Cons

Senior Managers tend to micromanage employees reports rather than empower them, preach transparency but are not at all transparent, senior managers tend to practice blame game rather than provide strong supportive environment

My experience at Kootenay Savings Credit Union was invaluable in part because I was afforded the opportunity to access many opportunites to experience different aspects of the Credit Union environment. This included a breadth of different transactions with members as well as background administrative tasks.
