Excellent co-workers. High stress. Poor management. No transparency.
KOHO's workplace culture has suffered due to the poor execution of its teams' management. The culture of the company, though one that supposedly values transparency and debate, is ultimately decided by the executive level (and suffers because of it). KOHO's recruitment team finds talented people, and this leads to amazing co-workers. Unfortunately, the turnover is pretty high as these talented people are often overworked and under appreciated. The burnout on KOHO's support team is one I have not experienced elsewhere. That, paired with management unable to take care of client requests in a timely manner (just read the number of reviews regarding this, or the BBB complaints) leads to an overall less than desirable user and employee experience. Your role and job security are always unclear, and though feedback is provided quite regularly to management, they are too ill-equipped to undertake it and often turn a blind eye. Corporate practices do not always work successfully in a startup space. This should be obvious but is not, apparently. Performance reviews and "pay raises" rely heavily on favouritism, an outdated metric system, and do not pay adequately. KOHO inspired high hopes in those who believed and invested their time into this company - here's hoping they can get back on track someday. User Success Agent in Toronto, ON

Well funded and growing Start-Up
Snacks, flexible hours, standing desks and ping-pong tables. Start-up culture through and through where you are expected to give your all every day, and juggle between three to eight priorities at any given time. User Success Agent in Toronto

Great place to work
Demanding but overall a good experience; Start-up atmosphere where you're expected to turn on a dime and juggle a myriad of responsibilities.
The best part of the job is the people you work with and come across. There, their are some really brilliant minds that you'd be lucky to tap into. What would you say about your employer?
