All your works are volunteer
12 is a magic number for them. They don't care if you lie to or mislead customers, they just want you to get 12+ applications a day. There's numbers of customers don't even know what they signed up are credit cards and the "protection features" charges them $5 a month even they don't use the card. Never trust their promises. They told me that for every KM you drove on your own car, they compensate you. It turns out you drive 1000+ kms a week to work and spending your own money. A typical week is 40 hours work. On the biweekly paycheque, you are only paid around $500. And this is very common. After you ask them to fix your pay, they keep promising you to fix it but it never happens. Just think about it, why Kognitive keeps hiring new people if it is a good company. It bc their employees quit all the time. As long as you have any other options, stay FAR FAR FAR FAR AWAY from this company.
Guaranteed long hours
Hardly pay correctly, lie/mislead customers, get yelled at customers and managers

Poorly managed, frequent pay issues, and corporate culture consisting of lying
Basically you do face to face "marketing" for financial services in a retail environment, promoting canadian tire credit cards. My manager would encourage lying to customers to increase sales. I am supposedly the highest paid rep in the program yet every pay period i am calling with a new issue. Not being paid for my gas expenditure for "grand openings ( i would be told that a store would be opening yet on every trip, the market would be saturated with as much as 60% of customers entering the store already having the credit card. A typical day would be going around alone in a store and dealing with rejection, if you have a poor day of sales you would be given pep talks and have to explain yourself despite the fact it would be a slow day for example a tuesday when there would be less traffick. I would then be lied to about how great everyone else is doing, I discussed these issues with other employees and they all had the same or similar issues. At this point I will be contacting labour board to recover pay. I strongly encourage others to avoid this pyramid scheme. The turnover is ridiculous, i would be sent on recruiting to college campuses monthly. You are told you will be paid a base salary but if you dont meet the minimum of 1.5 apps an hour you are sent home, encouraged to diminish your hours claimed at the end of the shift or you are fired, When an area is saturated you either need to continue with the circus or watch your sales slowly wane. As i mentioned i was the highest paid rep, it is misleading, I would have great weekends but then have to go in on weekdays where - more...
