Clients are wonderful but management is not!
Past employee (Former Employee) –  Armstrong, BC25 April 2018
THE manager of the houses in Armstrong is a horrible lady to work for and I would never work for her or this company again. Treats staff with disrespect and majority of people do not think she is a good manager!
Pros
The clients
Cons
The management!!

Community Support Worker (Current Employee) –  Armstrong, BC23 January 2018
Be prepared for anything- flexibility required when you support people of varying abilities. Be ready to laugh, not take things personally, and have a high degree of self directed attention to details.

Support Worker / Team Leader
Respite Care Giver (Current Employee) –  Vernon, BC4 January 2017
A typical day is interpersonal with many clients that involve problem-solving according to set goals and reviewing care plans with a health-care team for consistency.

Groups are where learning happens with effective ongoing residual results. Team leaders have the privilege of seeing positive growth at multiple levels

Most managers are caring and want the best environment for staff and clients.

The hardest part of the job is when the plan is not always followed which leaves a strain in relationships. With care it can be worked out.

The most enjoyable part of the job is seeing positive outcomes with applied techniques, and everyone leaves feeling happy the goal was accomplished.
