hard work

Indeed featured review

The most useful review selected by Indeed
long 10 hour shifts in the summer, very hot inside, very repetitive job duties standing on a cement floor, lean manufacturing- you have to make a certain number of the product per hour. layoffs when orders drop.

Pros

warm inside job in winter

Cons

shift work

Worst

This place is honestly the worst place that I have ever worked at. I do not recommend this job to anyone. The management is horrible, the hours are awful, good money though.

factory life but good money

A lot of hard work. 10 hour or longer shifts everyday in steel toe boots and constantly standing in the same place for long periods of time doing the same thing; welding or putting something together.

Pros

good money

Cons

early and late hours, physically demanding and tiring

the cafeteria was closed

The worst environment I have ever worked in, A typical day was not knowing if you would have a job the following day.I learned not to voice my opinion in fear of losing my job.Management is run by a clique of people who usually didn,t have a clue how to delegate the workforce..My co workers for the most part were hard working people who managed to get the job done despite management. The hardest part of the job was watching and feeling the depressed atmosphere in the plant. The most enjoyable part of the job was working with my fellow labourers on the weld line... and quitting time.

Pros

free lunches

Cons

shift work, vacation time, only if you wre liked by the coordinator.
