Not bad for what it is
Call Centre Agent (Former Employee) - Scarborough, ON - 28 September 2023
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedYou get a decent pay for what the work is. Annoying hours but you adjust fast. Good place to work during a transition period. Would probably not go back though

Good place to work at for students
Call Centre Agent (Former Employee) - Scarborough, ON - 23 March 2022
A typical day at work would be answering calls and taking surveys. The hours were not flexible, but it's a good job if you want to get quick money. I'd recommend it for students, but only for a few months because it gets tiring after a while.

- General feeling of work happiness
Relaxed but long hours
Call Representative (Former Employee) - Remote - 18 February 2022
Co-workers are very nice and helpful but the hour’s are very long and stressful. They also don't pay your full amount of hours you worked. It is work from home, but they won’t let you work from home unless you demand it.

Trust me do not ever work here
Outbound Call Centre Representative (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 17 February 2022
This place is a horrible and toxic environment. There's a reason anyone can get hired. The staff are so rude and they expect such long hours. The job sucks and ON TOP OF THAT THEY NEVER PAY THE RIGHT AMOUNT.

This place is funny
Agent (Current Employee) - Toronto, ON - 15 February 2022
My favourite part about this job is that they call you a “Team” but you never directly work with any of your co workers. You get put in a server of like 50 people on Skype and I could have like 12 surveys done already (quota is 8) and they would still complain and type to everyone in the group chat that quota is down and people aren’t working hard enough but I’m over here busting my butt over quota… Never got a raise or promotion or thanked for having over 8 surveys a day sometimes 11-14 a day and nobody ever personally messaged saying thank you or anything. You start at different time everyday. Forget having your shift given to you ahead of time, your told the night before whether you work the next day or not. I’ve had it where they messaged me 20 mins before the shift starts telling me we worked. So if you like being told you have to work in 20 mins and getting random shifts canceled here and there then this place is for you. Lots of forced overtime and then when you say you can’t work they make you feel bad. Threaten to take away shifts when your co workers are underperforming like I said I average over 8 surveys a day so I’m okay but they message the entire group chat saying they will take away shifts because of under performance when I’m exceeding quota and working as hard as I can. You get bad attitude from management when you did nothing wrong.

good place to work to make extra dollars
Inbound/Outbound Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Scarborough, ON - 12 February 2022
okay place to work just really draining with the amount of calls you have to take. you will probably need to take around 250 to 300 calls per shift and its ongoing calls coming in every 3 seconds. especially working from home it was very boring just staring at your screen and talking all shift long just makes you very tired.

Pros
Work from home
Cons

start looking for other work immediate after starting this one
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Scarborough, ON - 9 February 2022
they just throw you on the phone to do surveys with minimal training, when you ask for help in their chat it takes them awhile to reply or they give you attitude. Would only recommend this if you need work immediately. trust me you will be looking for new work a day after your first shift.
Pros
work from home
Cons
work till 12am, no growth, little help from supervisors/management when you have questions, not hired an employee so no benefits or security of work as they hire you as ‘contractor’

If I could rate no stars I would
KGS survey analyst (Former Employee) - Scarborough, ON - 6 February 2022
They do not train you enough to succeed here at this company. You reach out for help and there is no help, no communication. They don’t pay you well and do not pay correctly for your hours worked. This place is terrible no wonder they always are in need of hiring new people
Cons
long hours, incorrect pay, no communication/ help, do not train you well enough for in shift working

Not productive to work do not apply
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) - Remote - 24 January 2022
Terrible job you have to lie about everything in the survey, training really does not help at all, there are no heads up what are you up to and demands you to have a survey every hour if you don't they'll cut your hours. Not worth of your time to work with.

Stressful and horrible workplace
Outbound Call Representative (Former Employee) - Scarborough, ON - 12 January 2022
I had the worst experience here! Management was not supportive and they are always demanding for quantity (surveys) instead of quality. Would never recommend anyone to work here

Annoying and long hours, don't reply on time, don't keep their word
Call Centre Representative (Former Employee) - Remote - 26 December 2021
having to deal with rude customers and random shift changes and extensions were the worst. i worked from home so i guess that made it much easier. the pay was minimum wage, not worth the amount of work put into this job.

A research company
agent (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 22 December 2021
The company is conveniently located on Eglington east. The call centre manager is a nice person. Try your best to fill out the short questionaires with customers.

It's a good place to work and last time I was there they were very flexible and are willing to work around your schedule and the people that work there are pretty freindly

Terrible
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Scarborough, ON - 29 November 2021
Not a career job not a liveable wage and hours are terrible. Micro managed and pay is not worth how much work and talking you do. Only pay by cheque which is irritating

Nice place to work at!
Call Center Representative (Former Employee) - Scarborough, ON - 20 November 2021
I worked there for a short period because I needed to have a call center experience. In the beginning, I was a little afraid that they’d have the “if you don’t do the target you are fired” speech. Instead, they have a great team who is always there to help, and to make you achieve your daily goal. Even though the hours were pretty long sometimes, the team is very friendly, and the manager is one of the best I’ve ever had!
Pros
Easy money, friendly staff
Cons
Long hours

I had a great experience
Call Center Agent (Former Employee) - Scarborough, ON - 12 October 2021
During my time with this company it has been pleasant. I learned a lot that I otherwise would have not in regular day to day life. This company deserves some positive recognition. I have learned so much about customer service and communication on this job that it had helped me land my next opportunity.
Pros
learning new things, customer service experience, work from home
Cons
none

Not worth it. Don't waste your time.
Interviewer (Former Employee) - Burlington, ON - 5 October 2021
Management don't know how to train properly. Training was supposed to be 2 weeks. They finished in 1.5 days, then they throw you in. Don't bother having any questions, or family related problems they will discard you just as fast as they hired you. If you get terminated from this place. Consider it a blessing! Go find somewhere that you're actually valued as a person.
Pros
The ability to work from home
Cons
No regard for human rights. Shifts are not set in stone

Decent Job to have
Call Rep (Current Employee) - Remote - 5 October 2021
This job is pretty decent considering it is a work from home call centre job. Everyday you are calling people to ask about their opinions on certain topics and you enter in the computer. Culture seems to be pretty relaxed, but I work from home so I don't really interact with a lot of people. The pay is good too.
Pros
pay, work from home
Cons
long hours

Best workfrom home job I've had
Call Centre Agent (Current Employee) - Scarborough, ON - 27 September 2021
I joined KGS not expecting much because I was in need of a job. My perspective had changed after the first day of training. The job itself was straight forward but training program had a lot to do with my success, everything was clear and helpful. The staff there are also very easy going and willing to help and I also met a lot of new friends here too. I see myself working here for at least another year!
Pros
evening shifts
Cons
long hours
