Fun and laid back job
Outbound Call Center Agent (Former Employee) - Scarborough, ON - 11 October 2023
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedThe job was very laid back and fun. You do have to complete a certain amount of surveys though or they would ask you to go home. The interview process was very simple.

Job is fun when you have fun coworkers. Staff are generally nice and will provide good feedback on your performance as well as advice to do your job better.

Great for a first time job and to gain experience
Outbound Call Representative (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 23 January 2023
I would say the only reason to get a job with this company is to gain experience and to know more about the customer service environment (although its more you calling out to people in another area, you’ll be able to learn how to talk to people and manage unwanted situations). The people you talk too could be either the sweetest people on earth or rudest you ever come across. The work could be hard or easy depending on how long the surveys are (some could be 5 mins while some could be 30 mins-yes that long), you’re expected to get surveys every hour. They say you’re not telemarketing but at times it feels like it because you’re trying so hard to “sell” a survey to people, so they can do the survey and you can reach the quota. Overall, I would say avoid applying if this is like gonna be your second, third job and you're just trying to gain experience. ONLY apply if this is going to be your first job or you REALLY need money.
Pros
work from home
Cons
last minute shift cancellations

Would not recommend working here unless you're really desperate
Outbound Call Representative (Former Employee) - Scarborough, ON - 23 May 2022
I got this job during the peak of the pandemic. After successfully passing training, we were allowed to work remotely (which I wish they told us coming into the office for training was a requirement in the job application. Otherwise, I wouldn't have applied if I knew I would have to go into the office during the peak of the pandemic when a vaccine wasn't yet available). Training has no set amount of day requirements, you have to get a certain number of surveys before they allow you to work from home. Once getting to work remotely, when experiencing technical difficulties (and there were a lot), management was difficult to reach and unresponsive. The task itself of calling people to do surveys sounds easy but you'll have a lot of people yelling at you and hanging up before you can ask them to participate in the surveys. This job is very repetitive, boring, and management is unhelpful when you're working from home.

Trust me do not ever work here
Outbound Call Centre Representative (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 17 February 2022
This place is a horrible and toxic environment. There's a reason anyone can get hired. The staff are so rude and they expect such long hours. The job sucks and ON TOP OF THAT THEY NEVER PAY THE RIGHT AMOUNT.

Stressful and horrible workplace
Outbound Call Representative (Former Employee) - Scarborough, ON - 12 January 2022
I had the worst experience here! Management was not supportive and they are always demanding for quantity (surveys) instead of quality. Would never recommend anyone to work here

It's a good place to work and last time I was there they were very flexible and are willing to work around your schedule and the people that work there are pretty freindly

Collaborative Workplace With Flexible Hours
Outbound Call Representative (Current Employee) - Scarborough, ON - 5 November 2020
It was a pleasure working with this company. I’ve worked with KGS for approximately a year and they accommodated me well during my school time. They gave me the ability to work from home while providing me the flexibility to take days off when I needed for my exams. I can’t thank KGS enough for helping me. Thank you KGS for what you taught me throughout the course of my employment here

Insane Flexibility
Outbound Call Representative (Current Employee) - Toronto, ON - 1 September 2020
I love this job for the flexibility it provides me. I was told they would set me up to work from home in two weeks. But they did it in 6 days due to my performance. I'm honestly impressed so far as they have been quite flexible with me and allowed me to make up my hours if I ever missed a shift. They also allow you to pick up extra shifts as well. Honestly working from home just sitting and making calls isn't too bad considering the pay.
Pros
Flexible and easy
Cons
Long hours

Collaborative Workplace With Flexible Hours
Outbound Call Representative (Current Employee) - Scarborough, ON - 1 September 2020
I am really greatful to have had the opportunity of working at KGS as the hours are extremely flexible. When I first started working, I was quite timid while dialing but the supervisors were always there to help whenever there was an issue. They set me up at-home in a matter of 3 days due to my performance. Cant thank them enough!

Only for emergency funds
Outbound Call Representative (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 30 April 2020
The management is next to non-existent and the current manager is Borderline Rude, the team leaders are sometimes disrespectful and this the most unstable job a person could have, they send you home if you don’t get enough surveys in the first two hours regardless of the reason why and they don’t tell you this during the interview, the breaks are sometimes delayed as well, in summary this job is for emergency funds only.

Great for a Quick Hussle
Outbound Call Representative (Current Employee) - Scarborough, ON - 23 January 2020
if you need to make some extra cash this is a great place to work.Very laid back environment with great people. However it does get annoying reading the same content over and over again and having Americans be very disrespectful over the phone. But you cant take that personal. Show up for your shift, do you work and go home. Simple. I do not see much room for improvements but if you need to make some money this is the place. You just have to speak and read english properly, they also have positions for those who speak Spanish, Chinese and Polish. $15 per hour 44 hours per week. off Fridays. Part time hours are also available
Cons: Would be the break structure. There is only one microwave and over 100 agents, Time is wasted during break waiting to warm your dinner. and the cafe is not open on the weekends which sucks because eatery is not close enough to retrieve and enjoy your weekend lunch break.

Easy money but a scam overall not worth it
Outbound Call Representative (Current Employee) - Scarborough, ON - 19 June 2019
This place is the worst they fire people continuously and are a very unprofessional company; they do not even know who works there and who does not. They have no good things or reasons to work there other than the fact you will be hired immediately. The people who work there are friendly but the supervisors. The supervisors will continuously nag, and they will let you go if you get too many calls going to answering machines even if it's not your fault. It's a good thing my father is a Lawyer because they have a track record of not paying so if they do not they are looking for a lawsuit in their direction and a call from the government of Canada about improper workplace actions.
Pros
Gym
Cons
Everything you better run
