Relatively easy Job.
Remote Call Representative (Current Employee) - Remote - 10 November 2022
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedRelatively easy job. The goal is to succeed at completing surveys. You are to reach quotas in terms of survey completion. Note that there are multiple factors that determine the likelihood of your success. Essentially your hours could be cut due to failure of meeting quotas. Finally, for multiple factors, there have been daily shift cancellations for well over a week.

Terrible
Call Representative (Current Employee) - Scarborough, ON - 23 February 2023
Honestly steal breaks, take back money you earned, LIED AND HAVE YOU WORK 7 DAYS A WEEK AND THREATEN YOU IF YOU DON’T DO AS YOUR TOLD, late as last minute requests for you to work and change your schedule because they do not consider their employees. THIS JOB IS NOT FLEXIBLE 3:30/4-12 Monday to Friday and 12:30-9 Saturday and Sunday

Horrible place to work
Call Representative (Former Employee) - Home based - 26 November 2022
I work only for a month before I called the quit! No work ethic whatsoever. They don't care about anyone. what they say in interview is total opposite of what they do. They promised full time work but there was no work for 3 weeks and when complained, they said its casual work but whenever they wanted you to work even if it was for 2 hours, they needed you to be there! training was short and no sufficient, if you ask question in work chat, you get yelled at... I just can't find one positive thing about this "job" I had never heard of full time/casual work! which they explained as whenever they feel like they will email you that there is work. So don't waste your time with this job.
Pros
There was nothing positive about this job
Cons
undisciplined, careless, horrible work environment

Pretty good job
Call Representative (Current Employee) - Scarborough, ON - 3 November 2022
I joined this company because I just needed a quick job and working from home and call center seems pretty good. I attended orientation at the office, loved the team here so much I decided to work in the office instead. It is enjoyable to talk to different people on the phone, but sometimes the hours are relatively long.. but at least there are hours to work during this time.
Pros
the team, flexibility
Cons
long hours

Sucks
Call Representative (Former Employee) - Scarborough, ON - 9 September 2022
The amount of stuff that you have to put up with does not match the pay (rude respondents, terrible management, etc) and sometimes you’ll get underpaid despite working the same hours as other employees

Would recommend this job to family and friends
Call Representative (Current Employee) - Work from home - 14 July 2022
This is a great and simple job, I would recommend to all my friends and family. A regular day you do surveys, sometimes people are rude but the quota they ask for is reasonable. The workplace culture is pretty caring and accommodating.

Not at all what it seems
Call Representative (Current Employee) - Scarborough, ON - 14 April 2022
In the interest of transparency, the actual working hours here are: Mon - Fri: 2PM to 1AM Saturday: 12PM to 10PM Sunday: 12PM to 10PM And at times, the shifts are simply canceled and you don't work at all. No benefits, no O/T.

Uncommunicative Management - Poor Training
Call Representative (Former Employee) - Work from Home - 28 March 2022
During training you will receive basic instruction about how to do the work. Then once training is complete, you are thrown in with very little practice. Once you are working, you are told how to reach out to managers for assistance, but managers do not respond.
Pros
Work From Home
Cons
Bad Schedule

Good if you need money, I guess...
Call Representative (Former Employee) - Scarborough, ON - 28 March 2022
Not fun. hours are long and unbearable at times. for the few instances that you get to survey people, it's pretty interesting, but everything else sucks. 90% of your day will be spent listening to the same 5 automated voice messages over and over again. 7% will be getting rejected by the callers and the other 3% is the actual survey. Doesn't sound bad on paper until you start doing it for weeks or even months. They also pay you by how much you talk and not for the hours that you have been logged in for.
Pros
long hours = lots of money
Cons
everything else

Relaxed but long hours
Call Representative (Former Employee) - Remote - 18 February 2022
Co-workers are very nice and helpful but the hour’s are very long and stressful. They also don't pay your full amount of hours you worked. It is work from home, but they won’t let you work from home unless you demand it.

Call Representative positionsDecent Job to have
Call Rep (Current Employee) - Remote - 5 October 2021
This job is pretty decent considering it is a work from home call centre job. Everyday you are calling people to ask about their opinions on certain topics and you enter in the computer. Culture seems to be pretty relaxed, but I work from home so I don't really interact with a lot of people. The pay is good too.
Pros
pay, work from home
Cons
long hours

Highly Recommend working here
Call Representative (Current Employee) - Scarborough, Ontario - 3 December 2020
Working at KGS has brought change to my life. As a single mother of 2 children, I never had the confidence to deal with the public. Since working here, I speak confidently, can control my calls and enjoy speaking with various individuals. Thanks to the helpful floor support, quality control and the call center manager, I am able to open new doors I never thought possible. This may sound fake. I truly love working here. Some may not gain the same experience I have, however I have two extra mouths to feed and came to work, not fool around. It has paid off.

Easy money, just do the work
Call Representative (Current Employee) - Scarborough, Ontario - 3 December 2020
All you are doing is basically calling people and collecting their opinions over the phone. The best part of this job is the job itself, it's easy money.. you can even work at home. But make sure you do the work and know how to clock in properly to get paid. I've been working here since March and it has saved me financially big time since i was graduating from beauty school but because of covid no salons were hiring. I would recommend this job to anyone in need of a job or to learn new skills.

Nice work environment
Call Representative (Current Employee) - Scarborough, Ontario - 3 December 2020
I like to work at KGS because of all the cool things I get to do here. A regular day at the office I will call people to do surveys about different things, since I speak another language.. I also get to do surveys in another language as well. The best part of the job is probably before covid19 when the gym was open, I used to be able to go workout before starting my shift. People are nice here and I made some friends.

Great job to have
Call Representative (Current Employee) - Scarborough, Ontario - 3 December 2020
This call center job is great job to have, every shift you just do surveys and meetings here and there.
The culture here is pretty chill, you can wear whatever to express yourself as long as you don't dress like you are going to bed. Management are pretty nice as well but don't take advantage them. The hardest part of the job is when people say no to you over the phone, but that's life not everyone will say yes.

This job is great if you need the hours and enjoy talking to people.
Call Representative (Current Employee) - Scarborough, Ontario - 3 December 2020
A typical day at work for me includes doing a lot of surveys over the phone. Because of doing this job, I actually learned a lot about communication skills over the phone and getting the information I want from people. Management and workplace culture are pretty relaxed, you get to wear what is comfortable, and when you need help, they are there. This job is great if you need the hours and enjoy talking to people.

Great experience
Call Representative (Current Employee) - Scarborough, Ontario - 2 December 2020
This job has provided me the confidence to get back into the workforce. I was a stay at home mom for a while and at the beginning of covid-19, I needed to start working again to provide for my family. KGS provided paid training, the training program was organized and professional.. I was able to work from home after a week! A typical day working from home is great, I get to talk and connect with a lot of people across North America. The hardest part would be working to 12am sometimes 12:30am because I have to get up early the next morning for my kids. Overall I am having a great experience.

Friendly environment
Learn a lot about different current events
Best part is when you are on a call.
Hardest part is when you are constantly calling people and they don't want to participate.

Highly Recommend working here
Call Representative (Current Employee) - Scarborough, Ontario - 30 November 2020
If you are a professional and with high work standards, I recommend working at KGS. There are no assigned seating so far to many times I am sitting among an immature person or group. Who almost always find themselves in trouble. This is very frustrating, and makes your day longer. However, the management staff although patient with these people, does do a good job. Since my 9 months working here, I only had one paycheck discrepancy which was resolved and added to my following paycheck. Overall I love working here because of the hours of operation, the manager is flexible with my school schedule and I can work extra hours.
