All in all it was a pretty fun job.
Telephone Interviewer (Former Employee) - Birchmount and Eglinton, Scarborough - 8 June 2023
Since you are constantly on the phone reading a script (if the person on the other end likes your voice) it can be a little tiring after 7 1/2 hours. The nice part is that of course you get breaks -- two of them (15 mins each) and a 30 min or 45 min lunch break. If you are in your 30s or 40s, its a breeze. I think the older crowd may enjoy LESS shifts per week, but they do have a minimum which is FULL TIME.
Pros
They have a lovely gym and a really nice cafeteria. The prices are reasonable.
Cons
The long hours are tiring, sometimes you won't get your shift because of overcrowding, there are deadlines and quotas to meet.

You are treated like a robot

Management is awful, they get upset and send toxic emails, defnitely do not reccomend anyone to go to this job as you will be expected to be worked like a robot.

not good place at all
Call Centre Representative (Former Employee) - Scarborough, ON - 5 June 2023
Run. If you want an easy quick buck (although shady), this place is perfect for you. However, it is tiring sitting for hours on end and bothering people from across the world for terrible surveys.

Inconsistent hours, poor communication
Call Centre Representative (Former Employee) - Scarborough, ON - 30 April 2023
Hours were inconsistent and there was very poor communication between employees and management. Pay was below average. All in all, not a great place to work.

Na
Call Agent (Former Employee) - Scarborough, ON - 27 February 2023
Some of the staff are nice but some of them need to go back to the phone and dial like us, because they are so unprofessional. You keep dialing the same leads over and over sometimes you can't get a survey because the token is used many times to complete a survey, and sometimes because of that you are hard to get a complete and they tell you that you to log off when their leads are garbage.

Honestly steal breaks, take back money you earned, LIED AND HAVE YOU WORK 7 DAYS A WEEK AND THREATEN YOU IF YOU DON’T DO AS YOUR TOLD, late as last minute requests for you to work and change your schedule because they do not consider their employees. THIS JOB IS NOT FLEXIBLE 3:30/4-12 Monday to Friday and 12:30-9 Saturday and Sunday

Easy job, but not consistent hours
Call Centre Agent (Current Employee) - Toronto, ON - 3 February 2023
The job is easy, but I don't like how if you don't get a survey done in the first hour of your shift, they will get on your case and tell you to use a different script, which is usually poorly written and too long! Plus, the script doesn't make a difference if most people hang up on you before you're even finished saying it! Hours are not consistent and change with very little or no notice. Very poor communication between departments and with employees. Always seems they are unorganized. If you email them to ask a question, don't count on getting an answer, even if you email more than once!

Great for a first time job and to gain experience
Outbound Call Representative (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 23 January 2023
I would say the only reason to get a job with this company is to gain experience and to know more about the customer service environment (although its more you calling out to people in another area, you’ll be able to learn how to talk to people and manage unwanted situations). The people you talk too could be either the sweetest people on earth or rudest you ever come across. The work could be hard or easy depending on how long the surveys are (some could be 5 mins while some could be 30 mins-yes that long), you’re expected to get surveys every hour. They say you’re not telemarketing but at times it feels like it because you’re trying so hard to “sell” a survey to people, so they can do the survey and you can reach the quota. Overall, I would say avoid applying if this is like gonna be your second, third job and you're just trying to gain experience. ONLY apply if this is going to be your first job or you REALLY need money.
Pros
work from home
Cons
last minute shift cancellations

Sloppy on hours
Call Center Agent (Former Employee) - Work from Home - 18 January 2023
During the application process they didnt inform us on how we'd only be working the hours expected while election season was happening. For about 3 months after I'd have to wait until the day of to find out if shifts were available and sometimes it'd be minutes before or an hour after the given start time, which would leave me wasting an entire day at home to see if im working or not. The lack of respect for their employee's time is so visible as there would be only 1-2 days worked a week so getting paid above minimum wage wasnt even worth it. On top of that they ensure that you dont get paid if you need a quick bathroom break by making you clock in and out constantly. When systems are down they will make sure you dont get paid for that as well. This company simply has no regard for their employee's lives outside of work and visibly don't care about being upfront and honest about what they're walking into.

Hard
Outbound Sales Representative (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 16 January 2023
Just making calls all day. Monotonous and no promise of any advancement. You are supposedly paid hour but the truth is they deduct pay for all sorts of reasons such as being off screen from your VoIP software.

Strict management
Survey Interviewer (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 24 December 2022
They will cut your hours for no reason even if you meet their requirements. They don’t stick to their word and quality control will come at you for no reason if you are doing a good job. Don’t depend on this job for a stable income, treat as a 2nd job.

Bad Company - Quick Easy Cash if Desperate
Call Centre Agent (Former Employee) - Remote - 6 December 2022
Terrible company. Terrible boring under stimulating repetitive work. Management doesn’t help when their software doesn’t work which is incredibly often. Can take time off whenever which is a plus. Difficult to get surveys unless you are very aggressive. If you can be aggressive, have zero regard for who you are calling as a human being and have basic common sense and English skills you will be fine. If not move on. Love working from home.

Great work from home job
Call Centre Agent (Current Employee) - Scarborough, ON - 2 December 2022
A typical day at home working is taking surveys. You have a meeting with your team, they give you your targets and notes, and you work independently, which I like. Management is friendly; they give you a set policy on what to expect. So far, working here for almost a year - management has helped me every single time. They might not reply right away, but eventually, things get settled. I recommend this job if you like working from home and not leave your house to work.
Pros
work from home, good pay
Cons
none

Horrible place to work
Call Representative (Former Employee) - Home based - 26 November 2022
I work only for a month before I called the quit! No work ethic whatsoever. They don't care about anyone. what they say in interview is total opposite of what they do. They promised full time work but there was no work for 3 weeks and when complained, they said its casual work but whenever they wanted you to work even if it was for 2 hours, they needed you to be there! training was short and no sufficient, if you ask question in work chat, you get yelled at... I just can't find one positive thing about this "job" I had never heard of full time/casual work! which they explained as whenever they feel like they will email you that there is work. So don't waste your time with this job.
Pros
There was nothing positive about this job
Cons
undisciplined, careless, horrible work environment

Good place to work if you just want extra money
Outbound Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) - Brampton, ON - 14 November 2022
This job is fairly easy. All you do is call people and take surveys. The downside to this job is that it is a casual job that does not say it is casual. On October 31,2022 there was a shift cancellation due to no campaigns. This would have been fine except they promised we would be busy until 2024. There was no warning ahead of time and there is no expected date that the work will start again. This job cannot offer steady employment however if you miss three consecutive shifts you will be fired. The departments do not communicate with each other. They will change your quota without making you aware of this. Mangement also sent me a termination email that I missed three consecutive shifts while I was working which was a mistake.
