Good money if you work hard

Always lots to do in a restaurant, kelseys are known for not overataffing so you will always be busy. Great money as a part time or full time. Flexible schdule.

Extremely Fun

Enjoyed every second I spent here and very much suggest it to anyone new to serving. I found that they took their time to help you and even when you made mistake they were understanding

Productive and Fun

Great coworkers and management. Fast paced and need to be people oriented. Enjoyed working there for the most part. Some days are slower then other but great job for the most part

This was a terrific environment to work in. Great leadership, and staff. The general public enjoyed food and drink on a daily basis. Some had the burgers, some salad.

Good place to learn foundational cooking skills to take you to the next level, but once you master there is nothing more than a roadhouse trap.

What is the best part of working at the company?Structure, not a good vibe but it did run like a well oiled machine unless management was going through changes of their own person endeavors it was pretty okay. Not good, not bad, it's okay. You can learn a lot of cooking/line cooking basics here and take those foundation skills and improve your career much more.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?The most stressful part, was probably similar to most kitchens. The constant friction between front and back of house was super irritating because neither party could truly understand unless they did both jobs, well. Two different kinds of stress but people wanna act like one or theirs is more stressful than the other. Usual restrauant nonsense. Also as far as cooking the whole menu is super easy to learn and execute. My stressful thing was also repetition of making the same thing with no creative say. That's why when I left I took on something more in my own hands for success or failure. They'll definitely hate you for going outside the specs but specs are for people who can't cook and or don't know the synergy between flavour profiles.What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Stable, but not in the good way, in the forced toxic positivity kind of way. Kinda like a mom on a trip putting tremendous pressure on her kids to tell her that they are in fact having a good time. They certainly try, the kitchen hasn't really been the same since the last two KMs left. Two truely quality fellas, any place would be lucky to have them now. It use -

Total lack of training. Management expects you to know things about the restaurant that you were never taught. Terrible work environment with unsupportive management.

they pay their kitchen staff poorly

it was hard to get a raise every year and they would rather lose good employees than invest in their good staff, no benefits, no free meals for dishwasher or kitchen staff and the corporate management was changing so often because their management and staff kept quitting

Productive and fun workplace

I was a server here and had a very positive experience. Everything was well organized and my manager always accommodated my scheduling needs. Highly recommend.

Management needs to care

Some days they would send ppl home early when it’s busy but most days there were a lot of cooks standing around and not a lot getting done. It was a very separated kitchen with everyone (cooks, servers and managers) talking bad about each otherThey will make fun of you and treat you badly if your different They pick and chose which rules to follow and contradict themselves, which makes it hard to know what’s right.No food quality or care with staff in front or back of house

Fun workplace

I was a server there for an extended amount of time. I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere & work experience. Patrons were friendly. Lunches could be very chaotic at times but all good

management problems

very bizarre management. they use sarcasm to try to teach you a lesson and it only leads to more confusion and frustration. they also talk down on you heavily, like a god complex.

Dont work in the kitchen

Unsure if it typical between locations, but at my location I was constantly over worked and asked to perform duties outside of my job description. The kitchen manager treated me and many other employees very poorly, to the point of occasionally putting health and safety at risk. There was no communication, and I was often bushed off or ignored when I brought up comments or concerns. The general manager, who I felt was the only manager that appreciated me, quit after being severely overworked and underpaid for months. They hired people with 0 experience who were sometimes just their friends who had no idea about food safety.

long shifts (sometimes 10-12 hours with no warning), you work what position they want you to work, no communication

Disorganization & Sneaky

Depending on what day of the week and what you say, that will tell you who the manager is. There's always one manager who never speaks and another manager will act on their behalf. They won't tell you up front how much you get paid, it's a game that they play.

Fun! It was a good experience, fun management team and was able to grow in the environment. As most restaurants, some minor changes can be made training wise and ensuring the restaurant is running the best it can. Otherwise i recommend

Fun work

Great place to work, fun atmosphere. Lots of lifers for a reason. Enjoyed my time there. Late nights sometimes though. Nature of the beast.

Worst place to ever work

The manager's don't care about their employees. The owner takes everyones tips and shares them with the manager. Never work here, absolutely garbage place.
