Know what they do, know the history, go to ground school and get a private pilot licence its not manditory but it will improve your chances
basicly you need to be confident in your ability . The gentleman who interviewed me worked for britsh airways for 25 yrs the senior Mech Manager of operations Kelowna Mount hope and a pilot. l believe he flew the concord at one time. don't quote me on that. Aviation is a small world so you had better be good quality is everything excellence is expected
Back ground checks are done for all employees in the aviation world and there is not getting around that Kelona does a check on you, the airport itself does a check on you and l believe now the RCMP and maybe CECIS may check you out now ,refference checks and schools checks l took me 3 yrs to get a interview applying every 6 mnths.
