Smoke and mirrors
Realtor (Current Employee) - Oshawa, ON - 26 May 2023
It’s unfortunate because the people there are great and helpful. There have just been too many changes lately that are sending the brokerage on a downward spiral.
Pros
People, vendor involvement, nice office
Cons
Changes, staffing turnover

It burnt me out
Front Office Administrator (Former Employee) - Vancouver Island, BC - 28 April 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Most Realtors were very nice and pleasant to interact with What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The micro-managing and heavy workload What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Toxic within the office team. Expect your teammate/leader to pile on to your already big list of responsibilities. Expect passive aggressiveness

Will take advantage of you until you quit
Front Desk Receptionist (Current Employee) - Toronto, ON - 10 January 2023
They will pay you peanuts and will keep piling tasks on you until you burn out and quit. They did this all the time, it's a cycle, everyone quits because it's too stressful and you get treated like garbage. Managers have unrealistic standards for what can get done in a day, and they will not hire more people when everyone quits

Great culture

The brokerage offers a vast opportunity for training. The culture at the brokerage is focused on generosity for the community organizations. Support for new agents is improving but still not where it should be.
Pros
Up to date training
Cons
Brokerage marketing and brand awareness in the community

It's fine
Real Estate Sales Representative (Current Employee) - Ontario - 30 December 2021
Staff is fine, brokers own 10 businesses so they are barely in the country. Commission split is ok. Very basic set up not a lot of reasons to stay long term.

Your success depends on your commission and sales
Client Care Manager for the Van Stiphout Group, Sales Representatives (Former Employee) - Oshawa, ON - 18 May 2020
Good opportunity to meet others and collaborate in the Real Estate business. Broker/owners are sneaky and lots of favoritism for those who bring biggest and most sales to the brokerage.
Pros
Free lunches
Cons
Favouritism for those who bring highest commissions

Team Lead Assistant, Full-Time
Team Lead Assistant, Full-Time (Former Employee) - Oshawa, ON - 11 May 2020
While I thoroughly enjoyed my role and the Real Estate agents I worked with on a daily basis, the manager I reported directly to was not effective and very hands-off. Upper manager / owners did not pay attention to the on-goings that were taking place in the front office and back office.
