Steamfitter/Pipefitter Apprentice (Former Employee) –  Edmonton, AB5 October 2017
I worked with this company for 8 months and really enjoyed it there. Its always difficult with a job comes to and end and you get laid off. I wish to get back with them in the near future or a company that treats their employees as they did.
Pros
employee benefits and safe work environment
Cons
not enough work for full time

Good management and well organized. Job was camp based, 10 hour shifts, competitive salary. Tools were always readily available, and morale was good overall.

Not bad for wages but no Contractors
Pipefitter (Current Employee) –  Ft Hills19 February 2017
Steady work. But it seems to favor east coast workers. Not many of us from Alberta.
Welders have it the worst. Q.C. will fail you on visual and 3 strikes your out, no matter hat X-ray results are.

Good company to work for. Treat their employees well and the jobs are organized and go at a steady pace. The 2 sites that I have been on with KBR have been very enjoyable atmospheres to work in and management is very approachable and communicative. No corners are cut and safety is taken seriously in all aspects.
Pros
Good wages and all the benefits
