Not hard labour, but long hours and overtime expected
Dryfold (Current Employee) –  Burnaby, BC1 August 2018
The workplace is off of transit route, so they used to provide a shuttle to go home. Now, if you want to use the shuttle, you have to work a twelve hour shift. There is no good drinking water provided, only tap water. They have a good lunch room with many microwaves. There aren't enough lockers to accomodate the staff, and sometimes the lockers don't work.

okay tmeporary place to wprk
Sorter (Former Employee) –  Mississauga, ON27 February 2018
If you're okay working in a hot, fast paced warehouse for a little bit over minimum wage then this is the place to be. If you need a quick job for a couple of months then apply, use benefits then quit once you've found work else where. hours vary 8am start and finish whenever the lead tells you you're done. sometimes 15 hour work days. OT is paid. must work holidays.
Pros
its a job, 4 day work weeks, benefits after 30 days
Cons
long hours, must work 1 weekend date, hot, not paid enough

a new industry that I learned. It was interesting to see a large laundry facilitysuch as this.
But the staff were being paid minimum wage and working long hours sometimes 16 hours on one shift.
