Zero consistency, constant confusion
The rules are changing so frequently, but staff are never told when. We are treated as if we have done something wrong despite us following the instructions we were previously given. Upper management is unprofessional, takes personal calls while “helping” staff, and trash talks them immediately to their manager. Zero praise from management. Team members fired for things that become okay to do weeks later. Constant complaints about short staffing yet zero hesitation to fire someone for an honest mistake. Extremely ableist vocabulary is permitted, so is homophobia and transphobia. The products themselves are hardly held together, restocks are rare, and the sizes are hardly inclusive and only fit the “ideal woman” no matter which size you pick, yet plus sized staff members are forced to squeeze into the leggings. Inaccurate contract, little break time (30 minutes for a 6+ hour shift, in comparison to how most jobs will offer you 2 paid 15s and an unpaid 30 for 8hrs). Customers are allowed to walk all over staff by management. Again, I cannot stress enough how you will receive ZERO praise. You are only ever told what you’re doing wrong, never once is “good job” said, nor is an ounce of gratefulness shown to staff. Please save yourself time and work somewhere else.

One of the worst retail jobs I've ever had
Higher ups don't care about anything, belittle staff and make inappropriate comments to female staff. Management didn't even bother enforcing covid-19 policies because they don't care about staff safety.I think that's saying enough

Horrible customer satisfaction because of awful /no return policy
Angry customers all the time. Returns are not allowed and when people take clothes home then comeback and are unhappy because they are made poorly and they want to return, they take it out on employees. No paid time for opening and closing. No breaks u work alo e in middle if the mall. Very poorly run by company, you never know when u will receive 15 boxes of inventory when you are working alone. The mall gets mad because too many boxes in middle of the mall. Not a proper storage area in back of mall, had to ask other stores for storage area.

Good if you're looking for slow
Terrible management and business operations. Shady management. Usually working alone and there's no training. Constantly getting moved to a new location.

Most stressful jobs I've ever worked
You'd figure that a job like this wouldn't be stressful, but the constant overworking and lack of acknowledgement from higher-ups can really make it feel that way. Feels like you're constantly in the dark with policies and things you were told one day that were okay are suddenly an issue. Definitely one of the more gossip heavy workplaces I've ever worked at, mostly coming from the higher-ups. Six day work weeks are normal, and heaven forbid you or a coworker calls in sick because the person who is forced to make up for it gets put through the ringer.
