I enjoy the inclusion for events within the organization, and the attempt for site specific events; but there is too much drama and gossip between staff and other professionals. Poor altruistic teamwork across all members and professions.

What is the best part of working at the company?The money and benefits were good. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Unbelievably toxic working environment, coworkers, staff and managers relentlessly torment, bully, sabotage and undermine each other in the most degrading and inhumane ways possible. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Toxic to the point of hazardous to human health. Workers and management gossip and treat each other with open contempt. Management does not support their employees and coworkers, staff and managers actively plot against each other, sabotage each others work and degrade and dehumanize each other every chance they get. Good people do not stay there.What is a typical day like for you at the company?A typical day includes getting ambushed by coworkers or staff members in meetings or group settings with false accusations followed by endless complaining and gossiping about others and plotting ways to sabotage them, torment them and blame them for everyone else's mistakes.

Fun clinical placement

I thoroughly enjoy my clinical placement at Juravinski. All radiation therapists are very helpful in teaching and allowing to me except in my tasks as a student. They also create a very friendly environment treating students like colleagues.

Nice relaxed work environment that allowed excellent life work balanced. The radiation therapy department serves a huge population and is always busy, but they have enough personal to tackle the challenge.

WLMH has a wonderful nursing staff. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and intimate. WLMH is a wonderful community hospital that serves the public well. It is a lovely place to work at.

Great Healthcare Team

From my time spent in the Juravinski Cancer Centre, I gained valuable knowledge and skills from the staff and patients. There were vast opportunities for students to become more involved. Radiation Therapists at the JCC were friendly towards patients and other staff, creating a warm and welcoming environment.

Very Productive and organized facility to work in

Very busy atmosphere to work under with deadlines to meet Must have good telephone manners with empathy for patient concerns My co-workers were very supportive Meeting deadlines was the hardest part of this job Collaboration with my physicians was the most enjoyable and organizing their day to day activities.

The Juravinski Cancer Centre is a state-of-the-art Cancer Centre located in Hamilton, located beside the newly renamed Juravinski Hospital (Henderson Hospital).It is a very unique, warm, compassionate facility for its size.Provides quality care to a very large amounts of patients on a daily basis.;
