there every day, didnt matter (Former Employee) – Princeton, ON – 21 January 2018
totally disorganized and fly by the seat of their pants kind of place. Expectations are very high, as well as the turnover rate. Pay rates suck, even if u have certifications. Benefits are good if you can make it past their 6 month probation. Good luck with that. Morale sucks too
Breakpress laser roll deburring spot welding (Former Employee) – Princeton, ON – 3 October 2018
If you want something serious looked into like Sexual harnessment. Don't both. Management don't care. He don't care. You have to pay for benefits months before you get them free. People come for one day and don't come back. The management yell and gets in for face. The favourite ones get away with everything. The amount of work they want you to do by not pay good I was being trained in different areas, but didn't get to stay in one spot for long. They tell you over time is not mandatory but will harass you if you don't. This is a joke place to work for. And there is a lot of bad talk about everyone. I had management come to me to complain about other other management. Emplyees are checking their pay stubs because they are afraid that they may not get paid or the door will be closed one day and no one can get in.
Terrible place to work with Incompetent Management
Press Brake Operator (Former Employee) – Princeton, ON – 29 September 2018
Can't believe they are still in business. Awful place to work. Training was non-existent. Management has no clue. Super favoritism in full effect. If you have a friend in management you're going to love it. If you don't, you won't. Zero organization and Zero safety.
Engineering (Current Employee) – Princeton, ON – 26 September 2018
-Fast paced -Family-like culture -A great mix of work that can be challenging, but makes the days go by fast. -The corporation is both a job shop, and has their own products. Very diversified. -A management team that is transitioning to a lean production environment -Good benefits -Competitive wages -If you have a good work ethic, long term employment/job security is possible
Social committee has many events throughout the year
Labourer (Current Employee) – Brantford, ON – 17 September 2018
I have very few complaints about working here. Most co-workers are great, and they pay you your worth. A thought to consider when reading the negative posts, is that if it is such a horrendous place, why still a current employee? And as far as favoritism goes, it depends on what you consider to be favoritism. If a hard worker who always works overtime and gives it their all, is considered to be a favorite over someone who hardly does anything, misses alot of time and is incapable of working without constant guidance....then call it what you want. It is overall a great place to work, both in my opinion and the opinion of many other long time employees. Don't pass judgement, soley based on the negative opinion of a few unhappy employees.
General Labourer (Current Employee) – Princeton, ON – 8 August 2018
Surprise still in business, management is incompetent can't pay their suppliers, jobs are always late and quality is in the toilet. If you enjoy working in dirty , noisey back stabbing environment this is it. No structure wrong people in charge. Never know if you are going to show up and doors be locked. Pay is slightly above minimum and no benefit for a year. Stay away. Social committee that you pay for all the event and BBQ. Other posts on here are from either management or family.
Machining Group (Current Employee) – Princeton, ON – 13 June 2018
I have been an employee of JGW Machine for the past 8 years and I can honestly say it is a great place to work.
What I like the best about JGW Machine is I get to work on something new every day. There is also a ton of room for advancement if you arrea hard working individual that expresses your want to advance your career to your manager.
The employees at this facility are very friendly and fun to work with. There is a social club that hosts BBQ's and many family friendly events throughout the year.
I would highly recommend JGW Machine to anyone looking for a promising career in the manufacturing industry.
Social Club, Benefits, friendly work environment, variety of work and opportunity to learn.
Business Development Manager (Current Employee) – Princeton, ON – 13 June 2018

Onsite training allows ample opportunity to advance, if additional offsite education is required, JGW Machine provides tuition refunds on approved programs that are successfully completed.
Social Club activities including a golf touranment and family oriented events

general labour (Current Employee) – princeton – 15 September 2015
place is not a fun place to work , workers constantly trying to stab each other in the back, no work ethic in management either, no communication on floor or by supervisors till the work load needs to be done that day. Never know if you have a job from one day to the next , pay is poor!!!!
