Fun atmosphere

Working at the pool was a great experience, super flexible hours, great supervisors, great pay! Manager is super friendly and encouraging. All guards need to work a swimming lesson shift on the weekend or Friday night.

Not fun place to work

Some of the major problems is the work life balance in terms of education. Moreover many parts of the building is very old and have poor infrastructure. Some people expect you to work during the weekends and even on holidays. The growth of a person is very limited.

Poor department management. Unorganized, and volatile antics and behaviour.

Poor work environment. Department politics are unavoidable. Highly dramatic environment with far too many seeking control rather than hard work and student service. The agenda is very visable and greatly effects work ethic and quality as well as environment. Creates toxicity and provides poor service to student body. The book store is with certainty a department to be avoided if possible when seeking employment.

Combines work with school

A good way to do school work and have time for a job. It combines work I would do for homework with the requirements of a job. It helped me improve my schoolwork.

Fun place to work. very accepting work environment

Very accepting and enjoyable place to work with. Nice genuine caring people. Forgiving and will happily switch around shifts. Will not get angry with you if you cannot make it to a shift
