Accelerated Leadership Program
Our industry-recognized performance-driven coaching culture paves the way for future leaders. For over 25 years, the JOEY Restaurant Group has been investing in the growth and development of its people through a performance-driven coaching culture and world-class education programs. Over 90% of our Leaders have been promoted from within and many have been with the company since the beginning. The JOEY Accelerated Leadership Program is a three-month fast-tracked development program for those with proven leadership abilities and skills to offer from previous experiences. During this program, you will learn through Operations how to effectively run a multi-million-dollar business while acquiring skills in people and leadership development to understand how JOEY leads through people within a high-performing coaching culture. Our goal is to provide you with the training, and education you need to feel empowered to grow and develop within the JOEY Restaurant Business and Community.
Culinary Focus We are proud to have one of the healthiest Culinary Apprenticeship Programs in North America. JOEY exists to deliver the ultimate dining experience which takes a detailed passionate approach to cooking. Our cooks are preparing the same dishes each day so to inspire better quality in their execution we foster a strong culinary culture within our restaurants. JOEY Apprentice program At JOEY, we encourage and support our cooks and sous chefs to achieve their Red Seal certification. Working under a JOEY Red Seal Chef in an industry-leading three-year training program, our apprentices build a solid foundation through in-house projects and school applications. To drive continuous development and learning, our Chefs host in-house culinary clubs and competitions, quick-fire, and black box challenges, as well as organize field trips to local suppliers to educate our teams about the origin of our ingredients and how to prepare them. Culinary School partnerships Our Chefs partner with industry-leading culinary schools and education programs in each region we operate in. They impact our in-house apprenticeship program, sponsor apprentices, and build on the relationships we have developed with local cooking colleges which may include guest lecturing, teaching, or curriculum development.
