Good place to work, small staff everyone pitched in.

I enjoyed working with the staff of Japan Canada Oil Sands.
The day started with a tool box meeting.
Once at my post I preformed water tests followed by rounds and readings. At any time you may have to do an isolation for maintenance and prepare a permit to work or other task as directed by Control Room Operator.
While doing field hazard assessments - more... with maintenance and assisting in repairs, you learn more about the equipment you are responsible for.

ProsMutual shift trading without vacation time loss. Town Hall meeting with Head Office.
ConsBlack out dates where you couldn't take vacation time even if you found your own coverage, example - Christmas.
