*Dan Rink, C.O.O:*
As a seven-time business founder, I have a proven track record of building and growing innovative technology companies. I currently serve as Chief Operating Officer of iTel Networks Inc., a company I founded in 2009. My responsibilities include maximizing profitability, negotiating strategic partnerships, and delivering quality improvements across operations. In my role of COO, I evaluate and test new technologies, and uses my expertise to innovate value-added solutions to integrate with iTel’s existing services. I execute iTel’s growth strategy and optimizes business development, demonstrating this by successfully leading iTel through early startup stages, and into its current rapid growth phase. iTel is now a company poised to be one of the top 10 fastest-growing companies in Canada and expanding marketing efforts into the United States. I am a Lego Maniac that hits the slopes snowboarding in the winter and the rivers in the summer canoeing among water sports.
*Jordan Rinke, CTO:*
I do geeky stuff, from open source robot arms, to custom keyboards. I help developers and admins become better developers and admins. I understand what good talent is and I won’t micromanage you. I am willing to trust your expertise and opinion, provided you do the due diligence to answer my questions when I have them. I came up through the ranks, starting as call centre support 15 years ago. I am not your typical disconnected management, I work with my technical teams directly and stay relevant on new technologies. I balance business and tech for iTel and I am more than happy to discuss either at length when it relates to any decision that needs to be made. I believe in creative and collaborative teams, built on trust and meeting expectations. If that is your thing, you won’t find a better team to work on in Canada.
*Heather Sutherland, Operations Manager:*
I am a morning person! I am energetic, bright-eyed and bushy tailed. I love my tea and spend my days off doing anything from skydiving to backcountry camping/hiking, to jigsaw puzzles. I have a hard time writing about myself, so I asked my co-workers. I’m found to be a fair, easy-going Manager that can be depended on to have the answer to almost any question. I am highly organized and efficient which allows me to “get stuff done” and hit my timelines. I have these same expectations of others.
*Pam Ishy, Project Manager:*
I am a very flexible person on both work and private occasions. I am a shy person that takes a bit of a time to open up, but I believe to a person people can trust as I would always try my best to accomplish my tasks and help my team members achieve what they need to. I may not know a lot of things in the industry, but obtaining an answer is not a problem for me.
Outside of my work I enjoy spending time with my 7-month puppy and watching movies with my husband. – less
