They always need guys for home delivery and always will cause they don’t pay enough. Your doing then a huge favour by hauling there furnace oil they should pay the price. Then you won’t get enough hours for EI in the end, plus they treat you like a dog all winter they talk safety and hire well skilled sales men as managers to talk smooth but they have no idea.

As a delivery driver the job is pretty easy to figure out. It's not the worst job in the world, but you will learn to loathe local dispatch. There are reasonable expectations of the job on the job, but if you are any good at your job you will be learned upon an inordinate amount to pick up unnecessary slack. Sadly, there is a culture of chronic complaining amongst the driving staff and more often than not, drivers are more concerned about everyone else's work load than doing their actual job. The driver's managers and their support staff are great and quite honestly some of the best. Honestly, over worked and under paid is the best way to describe the job.
