IT Coordinator (Former Employee) – Blue Bell, PA – 15 April 2018
no clear communication at the top. HR department is understaffed and put under enormous pressure.HR manager cannot handle a company with that many employees. Policies are not enforced nor are items spoke in confidence kept.
Solid work place. culture draws raw talent from college intern to seasoned veteran with substantial years of experience in their field. We credit empowerment, innovation and “thinking great” for our continual growth and success. Most importantly, we are thankful for our employees and are proud to have one of the most exciting project portfolios in the business.
CONSTRUCTION MANAGER (Former Employee) – Irvine, CA 92606 – 21 November 2017
They do not listen to their workers. They only, Through you under the buss and don't look back. They give you no explanation for their actions. The people that work there are great but management is a totally negative story
Great place to work but never commented on the work you performed
CONSTRUCTION MANAGER (Former Employee) – Irvine, CA 92606 – 12 November 2017
Great place to work, All people where mostly open and fair. You never knew where you stood in the company as they would never tell you if you where doing good or bad so you just tried to do your best. Unfortunately the project terminated for an improper accusation and the company would Never explain or hear your side of the accusation .
Great people and projects
Never knew where you stood with management, maybe all I was a body
construction (Former Employee) – CA – 5 November 2017
The whole IPS experience wasn't the greatest. They pay well and if you like boredom this is the place for you however, they have very limited work available and future work is nonexistent. They have an odd platform and very esoteric in many fashions with regards on how they operate. They are not doing well in the California market. They are trying to form a culture but are very confused on culture VS professionalism.
they are willing to pay well
they are limited with work, very cut throat enviroment
Opportunity to work with most respected subject matter experts in the pharmaceutical industry
Engineer (Current Employee) – Irvine, CA – 19 August 2017
If you want to learn from the best of the best, IPS is the place! The company employs some of the most highly regarded technical experts in pharmaceutical industry. They have a lot of experience and everyone is always happy to share and support each other to continue learning.
Management really takes care of employees. They recognize the importance of work-life balance and it seems like everyone in the office maintains it very well. Environment is casual, easy going, and work hard play hard culture.
Overall, it's a great company with promising growth opportunities.
Project Manager (Former Employee) – Irvine, CA – 12 July 2017
Overall, I liked the company and the projects that I worked on. I, also, liked most of the people I worked with. However, there is no job security. Great play space for employees on the 1st floor - ping pong table, etc. Flat screen TVs, eating and lounge areas in several different areas throughout the building.
Regional Manager (Current Employee) – Massachusetts – 29 June 2017
Come and be a part of a rapidly growing organization. Everyone on the team has been recognized for our company core values of Knowledge, Skill and Passion. The group here is fun to work with and our vision for the future is great. Our management team is dedicated to building a lasting and successful business here in New England.
Collaborative Regional Office with interactions from all groups
Project Executive (Current Employee) – Overland Park, KS – 28 June 2017
Great place to work in our Kansas City office with direct connection to the Home office. Good benefits, great people overall and quick responses to any questions from HR issues to Project related concerns. Easy access to all of the other regional offices and the network of professionals throughout that you can contact for any legal contracts, design, construction, procurement or any project related concerns are endless.
Superintendent of Construction (Current Employee) – Morrisville NC – 16 May 2017
Great company and hard working employees just always seems like there is no guidance or structure. With a few key pieces added I'm sure things can get even better. The company seems to be on the lookout for new talent but never takes inventory of what they have available in house.
Senior Resourcing Business Partner (Current Employee) – Birmingham – 19 October 2016
I have been here at IPS now for 4 months.
In comparison to my previous roles it has a real feel of authenticity, the team here actually care and it is clear that purpose and fit is a really important element and factor in bringing in the right people.
Work/Life balance is understood and this gives you a great feeling about coming into work.
Friday team breakfast (UK), positive vibe between team members, positive action on my personal development.
Big engineering firm that still thinks they are the little guys
Senior Project Manager (Former Employee) – Blue Bell, PA – 14 September 2016
This company has no idea how to effectively manage and control projects from the proposal to the close out. They say yes to anything with the idea that they can learn how to do it along the way. This is a management mantra that has left many clients frustrated. They barely understand how to execute projects in the United States, but are incapable outside of the US. They have done hundreds of projects but have no templates to leverage and each project is a do over. Their main strength is limited to very good conceptual design work, becuase when they reach a Basic or Detailed, they are lost. The people that actually work there are great, but the management is really lost and that starts at the very top. If you can with stand the nonsense, it could be a decent place to work.
High turn over and poor management, real lack of leadership there
Manager (Current Employee) – Blue Bell, PA – 14 September 2016
- Amazing staff (hard working and fun) - Ability to succeed if you work hard and smart (show your value and you will do well) - Upper management is approachable (They are all REALLY busy but are very personable) - A lot of growth going on - Diverse and challenging projects - Turnover is low (considering the marketplace IPS has low turnover - some turnover is normal and healthy) - Paid straight time …
With the quick growth there are some growing pains and some of the technology is antiquated
Construction Superintendent (Former Employee) – Lafayette Hill, PA – 19 April 2016
Review the job schedule and status with the subcontractor to plan the work day. Go over the job progress with the owner, engineers and staff management. I've learned all facets of construction management including engineering, cost analysis, safety, quality control. Management supports you A good group to work with. Some days there is just not enough time to get everything done. Finishing a good project
