They used to have a strict interview process but that slowly went away. Quite often they just match resumes to job descriptions and it's off to the races!

Attempting to train, improve safety, and communication on-site. There is very much a culture of "don't ask, don't tell" when it comes to incompetency.

It's a dog eat dog environment. Little care for employees they just need to fill positions at the jobs they are doing for their client to get paid.

More mock drills, more rotation of regular staff between various sites, more training is done at head office.

There is none. You get paid various rates depending on what site you are at. I had 4 different positions and was underpaid quite often. Payroll is good if you can catch their mistakes early.
