If you enjoy working at a company that lives by "the customer is always right" mantra, InterFulfillment is a good place for you. As an account manager your day will consist receiving requests from customers, and coordinating with the staff to get them done.
It is not like working as an account manager at a company in which you are always dealing with telling people that are angry or making unrealistic requests. You are dealing directly with pretty high level representatives that are good at their jobs. It is a breath of fresh air. Solid culture around the office. Very teamwork focused.
Full staff meeting every week to consult with fellow employees and management on ways to improve operations in which everyone gets a say. From warehouse workers to the CEO. Everyone is heard. Loved that aspect.
Toughest part of the job is dealing with the holiday rush. Which is understandable. Everyone must be at the top of their game. Often it becomes mentally exhausting dealing with 2 or 3 times the typical workload.
This job taught me that not every company uses account managers to deliver bad news to their customers. Some listen and try and do whatever they can to satisfy their needs. That is the most enjoyable part of working for InterFulfillment as an account manager. Solving people's problems and being appreciated.
