Flexible part-time job
Instacart Shopper (Current Employee) - Windsor, ON - 23 May 2022
Good job for the student part-time, but you can't gain experience for your future career. And there is no health insurance for your job. Sometimes, you may be intolerance of the custom low rating.
Pros
flexible time
Cons
low salary per hour

Worst freaking company to work for
Shopper (Current Employee) - Manitoba - 24 April 2022
Look, if you’re working for a boss, they’re gonna pay you at least minimum wage and have a little mercy. Who tf is deciding to work for customers who barely have any idea about wages and stuffs.

Some days you don't even make minimum wage, inconsistent work. No compensation or extra pay for using own vehicle and gas.
Full Service Shopper/Driver (Former Employee) - Kelowna, BC - 30 December 2021
Low salary, ratings system is horrible. A sing 4 star even with the rest 5's will ruin batch selection for you. At the mercy of the customers. If they are in a bad mood and selection in store is scarce they blame you and rate you low. Which means you get all the bad batches.
Pros
Work when you want
Cons
Very poor wage, lots of mileage on your vehicle, very poor in app and batch assistance from instacart
