What would you suggest Instacart management do to prevent others from leaving?
Change the stupid rating system. Out of 100 orders you are only allowed one less than 5 star rating. After that you lose access to the few batches that exist. There's no recourse for the bad ratings either. To erase them you need 100 5 star ones. Customers can lie and Instacart does nothing about it. I am sure there are doctors practising with a less than 99% rating, and I think their job is more important.
Get more stores. There aren't enough to have any work.
Too many shoppers
Short delivery window.travel time across town instead of my location.being booted after turning down batches
How long does it take to get hired from start to finish at Instacart? What are the steps along the way?
The process is very simple, just as simple as getting terminated.
I have waited for over 8 weeks for my background check, as it still shows "pending". I finally found it on Checkr, and had to send Checkr the info, as they said they didn't have one with my name on it. So, since I cannot contact Instacart until I work for them, should I just leave it and walk away?
Yes. Instacart is not a good job. You might as well walk away now.
I would definitely wear something comfortable but professional you are still working you still need to look representable and look your best in my point of view
