How long does it take to get hired from start to finish at InnoSoft Canada Inc.? What are the steps along the way?Asked 28 June 2018
The current process involves three interviews. The first interview is conducted over the phone. The second and third interviews are done in person (or remotely via conference software). If the candidate makes it past the third interview, InnoSoft will check their references. The process is in place to make sure that InnoSoft hires the right candidates for their positions. The interview process has been streamlined over the past month to make the process faster for canidates.Answered 28 June 2019
The working hours depend on your role in the company. A healthy work/life balance is encouraged by all levels of management. There may be times when your days become a little longer. When this does happen, your manager will allow you to take time off to account for this guilt-free.Answered 28 June 2019
We greatly value those applicants who are prepared for our interviews and interactions as it demonstrates both your level of work ethic and also, that you care about the particular posting you've applied to (and that you're not just blanketing Indeed with your resume!). We recommend these tips when preparing for our interviews:
1. Know the job posting inside and out and be able to speak to how your previous experience relates to the responsibilities within the job.
2. Do some research on our company and products - sufficient information can be found on our website or via a quick google search. We will be impressed if you know who we service and what we're all about.
3. Come ready with a couple of questions about our company or the role itself. Again, this demonstrates that you've thoroughly considered your fit for the role as well as the roles responsibilities.
4. Be yourself! Our best interviews are those that feel like a natural conversation. In addition to your skills and abilities, we also want to get to know you.
Also, please do not follow the recommendation of the disgruntled individual below. Unfortunately, he showed a lack of professionalism and knowledge of the role (he had applied for a database administrator role without possessing any prior technical experience) during the phone screening which is why he wasn't extended the opportunity to join us for an interview.Answered by InnoSoft Canada Inc.19 June 2019
The average salary for full-time employees fluctuates depending on the employee's role at InnoSoft. A Developer will make a different salary than a Project Manager. All employees receive 3 weeks of vacation plus 5 flex days, benefits, and they qualify for the company's bonus plan.Answered 28 June 2019

International travel is not a requirement for the majority of our roles (R&D, support, project management etc.) as the vast majority of our work can be completed within our two central offices. However, some international travel is generally required for our sales and training roles as the majority of our customers are in the US.
Any travel expectations/requirements will be clearly outlined within each job posting.Answered by InnoSoft Canada Inc.16 July 2019
Over promising on features. Not having the resources to build robust software. Putting out fires daily.Answered 28 June 2019
Yes, there are opportunities to grow in the company. The vast majority of the positions that come available are filled by internal candidates. Open and honest dialogue with your manager about where you would like to go in the company is encouraged. InnoSoft would never place you or encourage you to take a role where they feel you wouldn't be successful.Answered 28 June 2019
