The team was lovely to work with, the job was challenging but enjoyable. there were some internal conflicts with the middle management team at times that impacted front-line staff, however that was usually resolved when job demands were lightened.

At times work-life balance can be. Challange which is the nature of the business as patient needs fluctuate. They are a healthcare business and that can be expected. Pay was comparable to competitive companies, benefits were great.

If you enjoy a mix of healthcare and business acumen you will love it here.

Productive workplace with good support
Very good company to work for. I enjoy the patients, and my position. Management is supportive and provides good feedback and communication. The company is involved with helping the employee's balance home life with their career

Great learning experience
Great learning experience but they have chosen favoritism over productivity. Also, the lack of communication with management caused inconsistency in the level of work.

Absolutely horrible management.
THE worst job! You are expected to see patients and do all the non nursing support work. You then have to sit down on your own time after you've worked all day to fill out "TREX"where you have to enter every task you've performed that day to add up to 8 hours. Reject OT on a reg basis. Unless you want to volunteer your time to this multi billion dollar organization steer clear!!!

Terrible and biased experience
Was hired as a Field and Infusion Nurse - received poor help from Management, unfair judgement on skills, favoritism, gossiping, overall terrible experience. Was not even told about concerns then fired a week prior to probation ending without any discussion or ability to redeem/change. DO NOT BE FOOLED!!!!!

Great People
The people I worked with were wonderful and my manager allowed me to work independently but we all came together to make sure our clients were looked after first.

Great work place
I am on an awesome team with great management.

The work can be stressful but management and coworkers come together and are supportive. Lots of autonomy over my tasks and decent pay - also there is a work from home option which is great!!

Very happy to be working here..

Great cafeteria and work place
Amazing support both from management and company services. The head office is a little too far and it's difficult to get there with public transportation.

Overworked with little pay
This company overworks their employees with minimal salaries, and stress level is very high. Big turnover of employees. Not enough headcount per program. Outdated computer programs.

Cons
Minimal salaries

Inexperienced childish management
Burnaby location, manager is just a boy with no personality, he wont be there for long though, he lacks what it takes to be a leader, things like honesty, decency and respect for employees.

Understaffed
Growing too fast for appropriate work load. Everyone is very friendly and tries to help each other. But being behind on work due to the amount asked to be completed was overwhelming at times.

Hureble unprofessional manager, no work/life balance
Very unprofessional nursing management specifically business area managers who never knows what to do. They usually works against company's benefits by giving hard time to their team until they leave.
HR team is usually team up with the management against employees. No support even for your obvious rights.

That was a good place to work a year ago but right now many experience nurses looking for somewhere else.
Cons
Poor nursing management, no work/life balance

Growing and value added
As a growing company, there have been some growing pains, but Innomar is quickly adapting to a leading employer while not only making the patient first, but caring about the employee providing this care.

Total Rewards and compensation are competitive, The Wellness team offers a number of events that show this company cares, although the lead team could be more involved.

A very friendly work culture with lots to do and learn in order to grow with the company - for the right candidate who is driven to want to learn this business of many outlets, whether a call centre environment, working with insurance providers for reimbursement, to patient care. The best part is knowing you are making a difference!
Pros
work/life balance, competitive total rewards, staff
Cons
can be stressful

Do not work for this company!
Not informed of the duties I would be tasked with as a pharmacist: standing in a +32 deg C stuffy, poorly lit, dirty warehouse checking rx's all day for embarrasingly low wages.

When asked if I could bring a standing fan into the warehouse to make the temperature bearable, was told it was unsafe. This coming from the manager who did nothing to rectify bare wires hanging outside the fridges that twice smelled burnt. This also coming from a manager that allows broken chairs to be used by staff. One chair broken to the point that if one were to sit on it you you would end up on the floor, yet staff were expected to sit in it to print waybills. Another broken chair sitting in the lunch room (aka closet).

Poorly running fridges that constantly break down, requiring cold chain orders to be moved over and over again. Disorganized procedures and minimal communication.

Manager and company does not appear to care about the temporary contractors - take advantage of primarily Canadian newcomers who won't likely raise concerns with the horrendous working conditions.

Manager does not support staff when they are "yelled at" over the phone from a colleague in another city due to small meaningless errors on packing slip. Several staff reported being "put in their place" by this colleague, yet the manager does nothing.

Witnessed a contractor get fired yesterday after 2.5 days for a packaging error that most likely was not her fault. Yes, the worker had a bit of an attitude, but only because she was also not informed that as a pharmacy assistant required to have +++ experience
 - more...
Pros
Most staff are friendly, caring individuals.
Cons
Manager, some front staff are condescending, very poor working conditions.
