Fun place to work

SHIFT SUPERVISOR (Former Employee) - Kitchener, ON - 27 April 2023

The workload is manageable. The work here is fairly easy and repetitive. The opportunity to learn/grow is there if you show the interest and 'dig in' to get taught other duties.

Most disrespectful place to work

One of the company where you have to be always ready to lick management and where you don't get respect at all. Management says let defects go and when it comes back it backfire on you by management that you did you let go and on base of that they wrote you up. If you say anything that they don't like you are on hit list to get hard time.

Poor Management

When im stuck working a 2 person job for 2 almost 3 months by myself and ask for my proper wages so i can pay my rent on time and they always said “we’re looking into why you haven’t received your proper pay” its a little bit immature to say the least. This happend for 3 months until i was written up 2 times for taking time off to see a sick family member of mine its completely ridiculous how this company has managed to get as far as it can between internalized conflict between Management and the Employees to The shipping department its a complete mismanaged mess.

Bad work environment

Management and HR were useless.They talked about holding employees accountable to do their part and at the same time ignoring obvious issues with lazy employees and bad attendance and performance When I tried to call out issues to a colleague I was assaulted and I was fired!It doesn’t make sense.Don’t work for Injection Tech!!

ITP is an amazing place to work. We are growing as a company and as a team, and the environment is very supportive. Management are approachable and listen when issues are brought to their attention.

Just me

There has been many changes while working at I.T. of course because this is a developing company. This is one of the least challenging experiences I have had in manufacturing. Unfortunately with all the on-site upper management fully changing for the third time, that has effected the morale and it has really changed too.

Pros

-Windsor upper management -Great hours -All the floor staff are fun, respectful, helpful and supportive or will get the help that is needed

Cons

-Onsite upper management -Minimal overtime opportunity - 0 room for advancement, no internal posting, jobs made up with someone in mind - VERY UNDERPAID I am serving food for the same sometimes more

Great people if you exclude management

All great people except the top tier. I have many many years of working here and it has went down hill in last 10 years. The management seems way more focused on money over people. Workers are great and job is somewhat fulfilling.

Very dirty and unsafe to work in Workers only work for themself not as a team . They changed ownership 15 years ago haven't had a raise at all Ownership before this one was very good to work with Lose people every week .If I didn't have 30 years there I would be gone

Nice environment

I work at IT about 5 months. I like working this place. People are mostly friendly and kind. Our supervisor is very helpful and eager to solve the problems. Although this is not hard job but hardest part of it for me standing all day on my feet. We can do the same job while sitting. The best part of the job that staff is very nice.
