Discounts were a bonus, but the perks were just to be surrounded by like minded people. To be liberated into a book store and to enjoy literature and stationary products. As well as home decor, baby/children's stuff, tech, etc. Overall an amazing amount of joyful things.

My interview experience at Indigo bookstore was overall positive. It was a group interview, nice and intelligent people. The only thing that they never get back to me, neither to other applucants that I keep in touch with. The managers promised to reply positive/negative about the interview results within a week but never did (Halifax store) that is not typical for a big company with a good corporate culture. So, I got another job and have no regrets.
